“So what if I have a black belt already? There’s something called lifelong learning. It’s the same for Taekwondo—to constantly compete with people who are stronger than us—the competitive spirit of sports. How could I give up after one failure.”
He did not have a high educational background, nor was he good with words. Hence, Nancy would often gain an upper advantage when it came to defending her own decisions.
However, at that point, both of them were brooding on the topic of Taekwondo—Nancy insisted that she wanted to continue, while Caspian insisted for her to quit.
Caspian was fuming with rage as he sensed that Nancy would drift away from him if she continued to practice Taekwondo.
“I want you to stop.” This time around, his tone was sterner.
“You want me to give up?” Nancy clarified as she did not expect Caspian to be so persistent.
Caspian avoided her gaze and moved forward to check out her injury. However, Nancy moved her leg off the stool to avoid his hands. He froze in position as he was taken aback.
“Does it mean that I’d have to stop doing whatever you’re unhappy with in the future?” Nancy questioned.
“You know that’s not what I meant,” Caspian explained frantically.
