Never Late, Never Away Chapter 2046

In response, the woman burst into laughter.

Huh? Why is she laughing? Kidnapping is a crime!

“Joan Watts, you better think carefully before speaking. Remember, a loose tongue leads to trouble,” came Gabriella’s reply as she tried to tamp down her feelings.

“Why did you drug and kidnap me?”

Gabriella found her question ironic for she had been after Larry for years. She should know what I’m after.

“I want to know what your choice is. When will you leave? Or will you enter jail?” Gabriella went straight to the point.

Only Gabriella would be interested in that.

“There are still three days left, right? I will leave it to God. It’s either we get a divorce or I will be sent to jail. I didn’t harm anyone, and my conscience is clear,” Joan stated firmly.

Gabriella nearly burst out indignantly after hearing that Joan’s conscience was clear. It has been years. Doesn’t she feel bad at all? She took my man away from me and caused my family to kick me out.

“Joan, stop talking nonsense. You need to admit to your mistake.” The woman sipped on her tea.

What did I do wrong? Joan shook her head and sighed.

It was scary to run into a crazy admirer who would scheme to harm everyone standing in her way.

“Do you think I wouldn’t recognize you in your disguise?” sneered Joan.

Once she spoke, Joan immediately knew she was Gabriella though she kept denying it.

She kept alternating between a harmless woman and a vindictive woman. It must be tiring for her.
