Never Late, Never Away Chapter 2067

“Don’t worry, Joan. I’ll find a way to get you home safely.” Caiden smiled.

“And how exactly are you planning to do that? There’s no way for us to escape under their surveillance,” Jaden chimed in.

He’s right. Gabriella had sent more backup to guard and inspect the rooms.

“I guess you’ll just have to trust me,” Caiden said to Joan and Nancy.

Though Jaden didn’t know what tricks Caiden had up his sleeves, he believed that Caiden would have come up with a decent escape plan.

“Here, Joan. I bought some disguises for the two of you. We’re leaving right after you’ve changed. There are fewer people around since it’s mealtime.” Caiden tossed the clothes to the ladies and pulled Jaden out of the room.

Nancy picked up the clothes in a hurry. She was stunned when she realized what they were. I’ve never worn clothes like this before! I can’t imagine how it’s going to feel like.

“Nancy, it’s just for a while, ok?” Joan coaxed.

She knew wearing men’s clothes would be difficult for Nancy. Nancy paid a lot of attention to her image. Though she behaved somewhat carelessly, she was oddly repulsed by the idea of wearing men’s clothes.

“It’s fine, Joan. Let’s just change. We shouldn’t keep them waiting for long.” Nancy started undressing without a further word.

To complete their disguise, both women changed their hairstyles and put on glasses. They also muddied their skin. Only a close acquaintance would be able to recognize them.

“We’re done. Let’s go,” Nancy announced as she left the room.

“Pffft!” Forgetting to control his reaction, Jaden burst out laughing at the sight of the two ladies.

“Don’t you think you’ve gone a little overboard with the disguises?”

I have to take every precaution. Gabriella knows us too well, and I’m sure she has our faces imprinted in her memory. She’s going to be even more careful after my last escape.

“That’s good then. Time to go,” Joan whispered.
