A Touch of Sweetness (Finnick Norton and Vivian William) novel Chapter 2227

Never Late, Never Away Chapter 2227

You shouldn’t have gone out for a stroll in the middle of the night! I don’t get it! Do you enjoy torturing yourself?

“No! Wake up now!” Delilah made her way to the kitchen after repeating herself.

Larry needs to reflect upon his actions as well! As a man, shouldn’t he tolerate his wife even though she’s the one at fault? He needs to stop pretending he’s occupied. He has been using the same excuse over and over again! It’s about time for him to return home!

To be honest, I have no idea what’s going on between the duo! Forget it. I’ll just make myself something to eat! At that thought, the woman in the kitchen started preparing her meal.

After scanning the surroundings, Jessica murmured, “I’m glad we managed to make it in time. If we had to send Joan home, we might have to take the next available flight because we wouldn’t be able to make it to the airport in time.”

Larry’s expression darkened instantly.

Will Joan get jealous after seeing us together last night?

“What’s bothering you? Have you regretted your decision? If that’s the case, you can still change your mind and make your way back,” Jessica deliberately brought up the suggestion.

Is that even possible? How can I leave when we have reached our destination?

“Alright, alright. Just figure out the proper procedure to bring your late parents’ remains back.”

“Actually, I don’t plan to bring them back with me because they once said that they preferred to be buried at sea. My mother had always loved the ocean, and my father would definitely want to keep my mother company,” Jessica shared her plan with Larry.

Did she sort out everything beforehand? Does that mean she had long decided to let her late parents rest in peace abroad?

“Shall we get going? The director is still waiting for us.” Jessica walked ahead of Larry once she finished her sentence.

Everyone in the hospital seemed to be in a great mood with joy written all over their faces, perhaps because of the great weather or their improving condition.

The director said empathetically, “I have been waiting for you. Here are your parents’ remains. They passed on peacefully and hoped you would move on without them. Jessica, promise me to take good care of yourself. If you want to stay here, you can do so for as long as you like. I’ll treat you as my own daughter.”
