A Touch of Sweetness (Finnick Norton and Vivian William) novel Chapter 2955

Chapter 2955

"How does it taste? Good?"

Johann asked expectantly as he fixed his gaze on the woman in front.

Wow, Johann has such superb culinary skills! Joan nodded.

With a satisfied expression on her face, she gave him a thumbs-up.

"Johann, you're really talented, I can't tell that you're such a great cook!"

Joan complimented the man with a glint of delight in her eyes. She had always envied men who could cook well.

However, she had simply forgotten that Larry was also a great cook.

"You should eat more if you like it Clara said smilingly. It wasn't easy for her to see Joan. The elderly woman felt a tinge of sadness as she wondered when she would get to meet the girl next.Actually, as long as Joan wished to, she could visit anytime as she still owned the house next door. However, out of concern for her safety, Larry did not allow her to go out very often.

It's already so late.

Why isn't she back yet? Larry stared at his phone anxiously.

Should I give her a call to check? But if I do that, wouldn't I seem too petty? The man was caught in a dilemma as he wondered what he should do.

"That's enough.Stop being so troubled! I'll call her for you"

Jessica said while picking up her phone and dialing Joan's number.

Larry let out a satisfied smile, feeling happy that Jessica knew him so well.it seems like I didn't treat her well for nothing!

"OK, got it.What time will you be back then?" Jessica asked softly.

"Hmm, I'm not sure yet.Maybe one hour later?" Joan replied over the phone.

One hour? Larry took a deep breath to calm himself down.

That woman has already been out for almost half a day! It would be 10 p.m. one hour later.

Larry could not stop worrying that she would meet with danger going home alone at such an hour. That won't do.I'm going to pick her up!

"Sure.Don't worry and keep Mrs.Wright company a little longer."

After saying that, Jessica ended the call.
