A Touch of Sweetness (Finnick Norton and Vivian William) novel Chapter 3014

Chapter 3014

"Larry, tell me why? What have I done to deserve this?" Caspian cried out as he hugged Larry.

What why? It doesn't take a genius to figure out that there's no one to blame but yourself, Caspian.

As much as he wanted to be honest, Larry knew Caspian was already feeling awful enough, so he held his tongue and comforted him.

But even though he had found out the truth and realized his mistake, it'd still be difficult for Caspian to get Jessica's forgiveness.

She was someone who would stand firm to her decision and there would be no turning back for her once she had made her mind up about something.

It was especially so when it came to affairs concerning her love life.

Besides, it was Caspian who had dumped her in the first place.

After that betrayal, there wouldn't be any easy way for him to get back with her.

"What should I do? What the f*ck should I do now?"

Caspian shouted as he downed one beer after another.

What else can you do? Get yourself out of this situation immediately and continue living your life! Before he could get his thoughts out, Larry's heart once again softened at the sight of Caspian. He knew that a man who was at his lowest point needed to be comforted, not scolded.

"Alright, stop drinking. It's good that you now know the truth. What are your plans?" he asked while patting his shoulder.

"I'm going to break up with that woman! The child she's carrying isn't mine!"

"Okay, but you can't deny having slept with her, right? You'd still have to be responsible for that, don't you?" Caspian froze.

He knew he had well and truly messed up, all because he got himself drunk and lost control.

Without any warning, Caspian started slapping himself hard.

"Caspian!"

Larry shouted as he tried to push his hands away.

"I deserve this! I got cheated by others and even let Jessica down.I'm an idiot and an a*shole!"

Larry was glad that Caspian finally admitted he had been in the wrong.

But what good is that now? If there had been any misunderstandings with Jessica, he should have been honest and talked them through with her.Instead, he got himself drunk and landed himself in this mess.
