Chapter 3017
Joan had no choice but to change the subject.
"Well then, shall we go shopping tomorrow?"
"Sure."
As long as it wasn't about Caspian, Jessica was fine with anything.
The next day, the two of them met up as planned.
Since Jessica had made it clear that she never wanted to hear Caspian's name again, Joan made sure she never brought it up either.
"What? How could the two of you go out without me?"
Nancy whined over the phone.
Joan smiled at her silliness before explaining the reason for the meetup.
"Wait for me! I'll be right over!"
Nancy exclaimed and hung up the phone right after.
Joan and Jessica exchanged glances and laughed.
No one was a better shopper than Nancy, and it was indeed their fault for having left her out.
Before long, the three women met up.
"What do you have in mind?" Nancy asked while nudging Jessica.
Jessica shot her a dirty look.
Since when did this woman become so nosy? Nancy smirked in response, wondering if Jessica was being shy or just avoiding this topic altogether.
Everyone has known about Caspian owning up to his mistakes.
Surely, Jessica would have heard about it too.
So why doesn't she have anything to say about it? As long as Caspian and Jessica patched things up, there was no doubt that their future would be smooth- sailing and happy.
That was something Nancy truly hoped and wanted for her friend.
"I don't know what you're talking about; Jessica replied while brushing away Nancy's arm.
"Jessica, we're all women, so I'm going to cut straight to the chase.Caspian has already admitted he was in the wrong, so is there still hope between you and him?"
