When Jared saw the giant phantom moving away, he fell deep into his thoughts.
“If these phantoms are so afraid of the Divine Bow, does that mean that this bow is the only weapon I can use against the giant phantom?”
As he mulled over that, Jared brushed his finger across the Divine Bow, stumped.
I can't even draw the bow! So what if the giant phantom is afraid of it? It doesn't make a difference.
Jared proceeded to rest on the mountain for a while to recover his spiritual energy.
An idea popped into his head after he spent a moment staring at the numerous phantoms, and he kept the Divine Bow.
The second he kept it, the phantoms began fervently climbing up the mountain again.
Jared continued slashing the phantoms using his Dragonslayer Sword to increase his Ultimate Force.
Whenever he grew tired and overwhelmed by the number of phantoms, he would take out the Divine Bow to scare them away.
Just like that, Jared was able to kill a considerable amount of phantoms to increase his Ultimate Force while making sure that he was in no mortal danger.
Once he realized that this plan was working, he started implementing it for good.
Soon, he lost count of how many days had passed since then.
He had acquired five marks of Ultimate Force, and the aura of the Ultimate Force was far more powerful than before.
As Jared discerned the Ultimate Force in him with his spiritual sense, he felt troubled.
He did not know he should use the Ultimate Force to upgrade his Level or to try drawing the Divine Bow.
In the end, Jared succumbed to the temptation of the Divine Bow and decided on the latter.
