“Miss, do you really trust him that much? You do realize he's a demonic cultivator, right? You've only just met him by chance, and you don't even know his true identity. What if he decided not to return your spiritual stone? Where would you even go to find him?” the elderly man in the crowd asked Catalina, looking utterly confused.
To everyone's surprise, Catalina simply smiled and confidently replied, “If he dares not return the spiritual stone, there will be no place for him anywhere in the Ethereal Realm. Even if he escapes to the ends of the earth or dives to the depths of the sea, I will find him.”
Catalina exuded unparalleled confidence; it wasn't something she faked, but something she was born with.
From this, one could infer that the power and influence behind Catalina were absolutely terrifying.
“Everyone, since the first statue contained a divine weapon, it's reasonable to assume the others hold valuable items as well. Let's open them but remember—no fighting over what we find. The rules remain the same,” she said to the crowd.
The crowd nodded in agreement, none daring to challenge her authority, as Rightblind stood watch nearby, his sword gleaming in his hand and his sharp eyes sweeping over the group. Anyone who made a suspicious move would likely meet the swift and merciless strike of his sword.
Once she was sure everyone was on board, Catalina turned to Rightblind and said, “Rightblind, you—”
“Let me take care of it this time.” Before Catalina could finish, Jared already stepped forward.
He was eager to test whether his sword intent could break the stone statue in front of him.
Catalina gave a small nod, then waved her hand, signaling Rightblind to step back.
Jared held the Dragonslayer Sword in his hand tightly. He wasn't entirely sure how to summon his sword intent. When he had fought the sand scorpions earlier, he had relied purely on instinct.
But if Jared were to deliberately attempt to demonstrate his sword intent now, it was uncertain whether he would be able to execute it successfully.
Focusing intently on the stone statue, Jared suddenly roared, “Slash!”
He swung his sword in a powerful arc and the Dragonslayer Sword struck the statue with tremendous force.
The statue's head was shattered instantly, but its body remained undamaged.
Just now, Jared had relied solely on his brute force, striking directly at the statue.
He hadn't unleashed his sword intent.

Truly an epic, could very well be a movie series just like the Lord of the Rings....
