Jared had no intention of continuing the conversation with Catalina. She was simply too mysterious for him to handle.

The sound of Rightblind's voice echoed in Jared's ears, before abruptly cutting off.

“Ms. Lantz? Ms. Lantz?” Jared called out twice, but there was no response from Catalina.

“How odd...” Jared wore a slight frown, genuinely puzzled about how exactly Catalina managed to get in touch with him.

At that moment, Vermilion Demon Lord said, “Hey, brat! That little lady isn't as simple as she seems. She's already left her contractual imprint on you, so you're hers now. She can know your whereabouts at any time and in any place, and she is also able to contact you at will.”

“A contractual imprint? When did this happen? How come I wasn't aware?”

Jared was utterly dumbfounded. He couldn't recall any instance of Catalina leaving an imprint on him.
