Added into Daddy’s Life novel Chapter 17

Michael's P.O.V.

I was honestly speechless and I don't say that often. I've never even seen Harry cry before but I guess there's a first time for everything.

I grabbed a tissue from the table and handed it to him. I wasn't even sure what to say.

"Harry....?"

He looked up at me as he wiped a stray tear that made its way down his cheek. I spoke softly and slowly. "I-I honestly don't know what to say. I was with her the first time she did the rocking but I didn't know that it would continue to happen. I wish I could've told you in advance. Wow Harry...I mean... I'm sorry I didn't tell you but thank you."

Once the words 'thank you' came out of my mouth Harry's jaw dropped. It was almost like he wasn't expecting it. I sighed, "Harry I'm sorry that you had to go through that but I'm glad you did. I trust you with everything and I didn't think she would be like that. But I have to say one thing.....you got through it. You didn't even call for help and that's honestly will power. So I just thank you for watching her and. taking care of her. I really appreciate it Harry, honestly."

He smiled blushing again. He leaned in carefully wrapping his arms around me so that he wouldn't wake up Giselle. "I really missed you Mr. Hoffstetter." I chuckled hugging him back. "I missed you too. And call me Michael." He smiled and nodded.
