Added into Daddy’s Life novel Chapter 7

**SLIGHT TRIGGER WARNING**

Michael's P.O.V.

My eyes widened as I replayed her question over in my head.

Daddy what happened?

"Baby you really don't remember?" I asked seriously. She thought for a moment and then shook her head.

"Honey you just zoned out and got a full nose bleed. I heard you say master a couple of times and you were shaking."

She froze but didn't say anything.

"Alright baby I know that you are not comfortable talking to daddy about some things but this is really important ok?"

She nodded and listened closely.

"Ok baby I need you to tell me about your old master."

As soon as I said master her body started shaking.

"No no no baby calm down. Deep breaths.....that's it good girl." Her breathing went back to normal and her body relaxed. I spoke again. "Now I know that this is an extremely sensitive subject, however, I don't want you to keep anything from me. Daddy wants to love you and take care of you but he can't do that if he doesn't know what's going ok alright?"

She nodded and sniffled, wiping the nose with the back of her hand.

"Alright take your time and speak slow."

I couldn't hold it back any longer. Tears rapidly fell down my cheeks but I didn't stop talking. I needed to get this off my chest.

"The next day I was really sick and I kept throwing up everywhere and it made my mom really mad. So she called her um special friend and he brought a big belt from his car. He-He tied it around his hand so that the buckle was exposed and he hit me constantly kept telling me I was worthless....and I believed him. My back was sopping wet with blood but he just kept going. I was sore for about a week and I had nightmares every night."

By this time daddy's eyes were filled with tears.

"When daddy came back mom was gone because she left him for her boss, Mrs. Jones. Daddy said he didn't know that she liked women because she never told him. When it was time for school the next day daddy said I wasn't going. I didn't mind much because I didn't like school. I was picked on because they said my skin was too dark and I didn't fit in. At lunch they would throw food at me and spit at me. So when daddy said I wasn't going I was happy.

"We got in the car and started driving. Daddy turned into a street I wasn't familiar with but I didn't say anything. When we reached the stoplight daddy stopped but the man behind us didn't. He crashed into us causing daddy to fly through the windshield and crack his head on the concrete. I watched as thick blood oozed from his skull and I screamed. Th-There was so much blood. I-I tried to save him....but I couldn't. I tried to do CPR. I did the compressions and I blew into his mouth but nothing made him wake up. I-I wanted to die.... I just couldn't handle it.

"The man that hit is came out of the car holding a phone to his ear. He told me everything was alright and the ambulance was on their way. He didn't apologize for what he did but he waited with me until the ambulance came. When they came they put daddy in a black bag and threw him into the truck. It was like he was just a sack of potatoes. It was horrible. The man that hit us told the police that he was my uncle and it was a complete accident. He said that daddy was texting and wasn't paying attention.

"I tried to speak up but nothing came out my throat was dry and my voice wasn't there. He told the police that he would take care of me at home and he carried me away from the scene. I just don't understand how the police could be that stupid. How could I be that stupid. I let him carry me away. I went home with him....with master.
