Elara’s subordinates saw her and greeted, “Mrs. Kensington.” 

When Liam saw Elara appear, he sized her. “Who are you?” 

Elara said, “Dana drank 

o much. I want to bring her back.” 

She could imagine what would happen next if Liam brought Dana away. Since Elara was involved, she naturally wouldn’t let this kind of thing happen again. 

Liam looked Elara up and down and said, “She’s my girlfriend! Why should I give her to you? Who are you?” 

“She’s your girlfriend?” Elara said, “Why didn’t I know that? You can call her your girlfriend just because you had a meal together? I’ll call the police if you keep pestering her!” 

“You’re crazy!” Liam said to Elara, “Her house is on my way home. I saw that she was drunk, so I wanted to send her back. If you don’t believe me, I’ll call her family over!” 

Liam did not want to argue with Elara, so he called Dana’s family. Elara stood at the side. 

After Liam finished his call, he said to Elara, “I advise you to leave now! When her family comes over, you won’t be able to leave! I have a bad temper.” 

Elara looked at him and said slowly, “Since you’ve called them over, we should just 

wait!” 

Elara was quite patient. Soon, Daphne and Pamela came down. 

Daphne froze when she saw Elara. She walked over and asked, “What happened?” 

Liam said, “I want to bring Dana back, but she stopped me! They don’t allow me to leave!” 

Daphne originally thought that Liam would just bring Dana back. She did not expect Elara to show up. 

She said to Elara, “Elara, what exactly do you want? How can you interfere in our family’s matters? Dana’s blind date went very smoothly with Mr. Smith. Isn’t it too unreasonable for your to cause trouble for them?” 

Elara asked, “On the first day of the blind date, you left her alone with a man you’re not familiar with. Are you sure this is a blind date?” 

“Dana was the one who agreed to the blind date!” Daphne said, “Can you not interfere with our family’s matters? As long as you appear, nothing good will happen.” 

“I’ll bring her back!” Elara said, “When her mother comes back, you can pick her up!” 

She had thought that they would restrain themselves after bringing Dana back last night. To Elara’s surprise, Daphne was so bold. She found her so vicious since she was able to pull this off. 

Daphne asked, “How can you do that?” 

Elara said, “Dana’s mother is friends with my aunt. She’s also my sister’s friend. Naturally, I can’t watch her be bullied!” 

Elara had her staff help Dana down from the car. Dana had drunk too much and looked silly. 

Daphne said, “You’re trafficking! I’ll call the police.” 

“Whatever!” Elara glanced at Daphne with a calm attitude. If Daphne really wanted to call the police, Elara wouldn’t be afraid.

Daphne gritted her teeth and watched helplessly as Elara took Dana away. 

Although she wanted to go head–to–head with Elara, she knew that even if she made a fuss, it would not be beneficial to her. If someone were to investigate today’s matter, things would go wrong for her. 

Elara brought Dana home and got someone to check on her. Dara didn’t have a good tolerance for alcohol, to begin with, so she must have been forced to drink a lot. 

After dealing with all this, Elara asked Evelyn to call Dana’s mother and have Edith come over and pick up Dana. 

When Edith arrived, she saw that Dana was still sleeping. She sat beside her and looked at her. 

When she heard that Daphne asked Dana to drink and even wanted another man to take Dana away, she was furious. Evelyn stood at the side and looked at Edith’s angry expression. She said, “Fortunately, Elara met her today. Otherwise…”

Dana was an innocent and cute girl. Elara really could not bear to see her being taken advantage of. It was already night when Edith returned to the Linde family with Dana. Dana was already awake, but she was still in a daze. 

When Daphne saw this scene, she came forward and asked, “Mom, Dana, welcome back.” 

As soon as she finished speaking, Edith slapped her. 

Daphne covered her face and looked at Edith innocently. “Mom, why did you hit me?” 

Edith’s face was cold. “I know what you’ve done! Daphne, how dare you treat my daughter like this!” 

After Edith finished speaking, she got someone to send Dana to her room to rest. Then, she went straight to Asher’s study. Asher had already returned and was busy with work. 

Edith pushed open the door. Asher was standing by the window. He had one hand on his waist while being on the phone. When he heard the door open, he glanced at Edith and quickly ended the call. He walked over and asked, “You are back?” Edith had not been in good health recently and had been recuperating. Previously, she was angered by the company’s 

matters. 

Edith walked in and looked at Asher. She said, “Come here. I have something to tell you.”
