Catching Cathy’s hint, Lucy brought out a painting she had purchased at a high price from an auction. 

“Sir Shawn, this is my gift to you. An oil painting. I hope you like 

it.” 

Admas unfolded the painting, revealing a painting symbolizing 

love to the crowd. 

Cathy, always eager to stir up drama, exclaimed, “Wow, Lucy, that’s a beautiful painting! I think it’s much better than the painting we saw earlier. And you can tell this artist is very talented. It must have cost a pretty penny!” 

Lucy smiled faintly. “It wasn’t that expensive. Chloe really wanted this painting too, and I felt a bit sorry about it.” 

Chloe was taken aback, realizing Lucy was gifting the very painting she had admired at the auction. 

Hearing her name mentioned, Chloe quickly waved her hand dismissively.

She was just a nobody, and that oil painting was the best she had ever done.
