Chloe knew that the man had a strong sense of pride, which was why he kept refusing her offers.

"I swear I won't tell anyone. It'll just be between the three of us. I know you need money. Name your price, and I'll give it to you!"

She then looked at the other man. "I'm pregnant. I have an unborn child. I really don't want to die!"

Edwin waved his hand in irritation, finding her too noisy, and stuffed the rag back into her mouth.
