After I left, the twin Alphas went crazy novel Chapter 98

Lirian glanced up, his face immediately hardening. “Yara, leave.”

Yara pouted, ignoring him. “Why? You’ve been hanging around her all the time. Isn’t she the one who keeps causing trouble for you? Isn’t she the one who still likes Ryan? Why would you even let her in here, brother?”

I looked over at Lirian and asked, ‘Am I giving you trouble?’

Lirian shook his head, as if he was afraid I would take this the wrong way, and said again in a rush, ‘Of course not!’

Yara just crossed her arms, clearly unimpressed. “You’re the one who’s always hurting him. And you think you can just walk in and act like you belong here? It’s embarrassing!” Her eyes flashed with resentment.

Before I could respond, Lirian’s jaw tightened, and he shot to his feet, gripping her by the arm. “Yara, out. Now.”

Yara’s eyes widened, and she wriggled in his hold, trying to twist away. “Brother, I’m just saying the truth! This girl doesn’t deserve you!”

“I said out,” Lirian growled, ushering her out of the study and closing the door firmly behind her. I could still hear Yara’s muffled voice complaining on the other side.

He turned back to me, his expression apologetic. “She’s my cousin. I’m sorry for her behavior.”

I offered a small smile. “No, it’s alright. She’s just… looking out for you, I suppose.”

Lirian scoffed, rubbing the back of his neck. “That’s one way to put it. But I won’t let her bother you again. I’ll make sure she stays out of this.”

As the car pulled up to Moonshadow’s entrance, Clara stood at the doorway, her face pale with desperation and urgency.

She rushed forward, her voice sharp with fear as she pleaded, “Please, let me meet with the Alpha! I must see him—it’s a matter of life and death for my child!”

The guard at the entrance scowled, his patience clearly waning as he looked at Clara.

“You’re annoying as hell! Do you think the Alpha is just someone you can demand to see?” His voice dripped with irritation, and it wasn’t hard to guess that Clara was no stranger here.

Clara bristled, her eyes narrowing at the guard.

Although she had once been a servant at Moon Shadow, she was far from welcomed.
