Chapter 1164 Travel (8) The Morning

Theodore held Little Bunny in his arms. His body reeked of alcohol. Although Theodore didn't look fat, Little Bunny felt he was as heavy as a ton of bricks in her arms.

He was lost in the warmth of Little Bunny's embrace. He breathed in her unique scent and found it even more intoxicating than the alcohol he had just consumed.

"Come on, let me help you back to your room," said Little Bunny resignedly as she supported him.

Theodore leaned on her as they stumbled up the stairs together. Finally, after much effort, Little Bunny managed to get Theodore into his room and onto his bed. As soon as he lay down on the bed, Theodore felt the warmth of Little Bunny's embrace disappear from him. He felt a sense of loss wash over him instantly.

Despite being under the influence of alcohol, he had flushed cheeks and laboured breathing at this point. However; he did not dare do anything else with her. Little Bunny helped him onto the bed before turning around to leave but then thought better about it before heading towards the bathroom instead. She filled up a basin with warm water and used a warm towel to wash his face clean and wiped down both hands and feet. And then she tucked him into bed properly afterwards before leaving quietly once again without disturbing him any further.

Theodore raised his hand, intending to grab her arm, but his hand froze in the air before touching her. He couldn't do everything he wanted since Little Bunny was nice to him.

Little Bunny came back with a glass of water for him and put it on the nightstand beside him. "It would be easy to get thirsty after drinking. The water is placed next to you, when you wake up in the middle of the night, take a sip of the honey water, it can alleviate the discomfort in your stomach.."

"Little Bunny."

She was looking at him.

"You're too good to me, I'll miss you if you ever leave." Said he.

Little Bunny was just accustomed to taking care of him. However, his words made her start to reflect on herself.

"I'll try my best not to do so anymore." Replied she.

Theodore covered his eyes with one hand while chuckling. He wished she would have replied with another answer like she was treating him well because she liked him.

But he was overthinking it. It was all his wishful thinking.

He tried hard to close his eyes and not look at Little Bunny, afraid that if she said anything that shows she willingly cared for him, he would lose control and pounce on her.

Little Bunny turned around and left.

As she closed the door, she took a deep breath. She couldn't help but touch the position of her heart. It seemed to be faster than usual.

Was it because she was afraid that Theodore wouldn't let her go, or was it because she had a new understanding of Theodore?

But once she thought of the time when Theodore used her to find another woman, any different feelings for him were erased from her mind in an instant.

It was 8 a. m.

Theodore hadn't gotten up yet. The plane would leave at 1 PM and would take three hours to get to the airport. If they didn't leave now, they would be cutting it close.
