CHAPTER 474 GO OUT TO FIGHT ALL YOU WANT

“You know her?” Noah looked at Madeline.

She nodded, “You know her too. Lucas’s girlfriend, Mia.

“When did Lucas have a girlfriend?” Noah didn’t know anything about it.

Madeline looked at him speechlessly. Lucas was busy working for Noah in the Quinton Corporation but Noah doesn’t care about him at all. Even if Mia was not his girlfriend, she was definitely a very important woman to him. Madeline had seen them several times before.

“Go and bring the medical kit from the car,” Madeline said to Noah who was starting to investigate the surroundings. It was more important to save Mia’s life first.

Madeline checked the injuries on Mia’s body. There were scratch wounds from branches and daggers. Most of the injuries were by daggers. This was man-made and not an accident.

In other words, Mia’s sudden appearance might not be related to their plan.

Noah got into the car and brought the medical kit. He also called an ambulance. After thinking about it, he gave Lucas a call.

Lucas’s reaction was more agitated than he expected, “What? What's wrong with her? Where is she? I'll be right over!”

Noah looked at his phone screen which blacked out for a few seconds, then he went to help Madeline.

Madeline bandaged Mia’s wound briefly and helped her to the roadside to wait for help.

Noah did not say much. It’s not that they didn't have a sense of danger. A woman who was covered with injuries running down the hill in panic must have been being chased.

They had been here for a while, but the people who chased Mia never appeared. This could only mean that those people recognized him and were afraid of him. Why were they afraid? It was because they had found out that Noah and Madeline were followed by quite a number of people.

After all, the two of them came out to trap the mastermind behind the “accidents” that happened one after another. How could they risk themselves by not bringing some people along?

Mia looked severely injured. Those injuries were caused by torture. The vital parts of the body were not harmed, thus no life-threatening issues. This was one of the reasons Madeline did not send her to the hospital first. She was waiting to see if the people who hurt her would appear.

A moment later, the person in her arms moved. Madeline saw Mia's eyes and they looked frightened. Madeline calmed her down, “It’s okay now. It’s me, Madeline. Do you remember me?”

When Mia heard Madeline’s name, her body trembled.

Noah and Madeline have some strange thoughts in their hearts.

“The ambulance will arrive soon. Lucas will be here too. Don’t be afraid.” Madeline felt that she was so weak that she was going to faint at any moment. So, she did not ask her what had happened.

Mia yelled agitatedly suddenly and she grabbed Madeline’s collar, “Go! Go now! They are going to catch you.”

Madeline looked at Noah who gave her a reassuring look.

Then she whispered to Mia, “Look, Mr. Quincy is here. No one can hurt us. Don’t be afraid.”

Why was she afraid of Noah?

Noah met Madeline’s puzzled eyes and quickly shrugged his shoulders to indicate that he didn’t know anything about it. He had even forgotten who Mia was.

“Go! Hurry and go! Don’t stay here…” Mia muttered in Madeline’s arms as she didn’t dare to yell anymore.

Madeline gently patted her back to calm her.

Ten minutes later, Lucas arrived ahead of the ambulance.

He saw Mia was covered with bandages and he stumbled while walking. When he got to the three of them, he forcefully carried Mia away from Madeline’s arms.

Madeline was afraid that he would be too worried and explained, “They are all superficial injuries, not life-threatening at all.”

Lucas nodded and he did not look at Noah for the first time. He put Mia into the passenger seat and intended to drive away. Noah was quick to open the door of the driver's seat and pulled Lucas out of the car.

“Carry Mia to the back, I'll drive.” Noah offered after he saw Lucas’s shaking hands and feet. He would surely drive the car into a ditch.

Lucas also realized that his condition was very bad. He listened to Noah and carried Mia to the back seat, carefully covering her with a blanket.

Madeline got into the passenger seat. She was tired of the accidents coming one after another. It was not only physically exhausting, but it was more mentally exhausting.

Noah did not send Mia to the hospital. He brought her to the 87th floor of Golden Dome International.

Dylan and Alexander were shocked as they saw Lucas carrying a person covered in blood. They let out a sigh of relief after realizing that it was not Madeline.

“Are you okay? Is there any injury? Is the blood on you yours? No, do a full body check first.” Alexander anxiously started to pull Madeline toward the examination room.

Madeline was just about to explain that she was fine when Noah took hold of Alexander’s wrist. It could be seen that Noah had used a strong force as Alexander’s face was getting pale.

Even when cold sweats were forming on Alexander’s forehead, he was still not letting go of Madeline’s hand. She quickly told Noah, “Let go.”

Alexander was a doctor. if something happened to his hand, he would never be able to hold a scalpel or be a doctor again.

Noah stared at Alexander without blinking, signaling that he should let go of his hands on Madeline first.

However, Alexander refused to do so. He also spoke sarcastically to Noah, “If you can't protect Madeline, let her go. Ever since she came back to you, she hasn't had any peaceful days!”

“When did you have the right to meddle with my family matters?” Noah gripped harder.

Alexander talked through the pain, “I can’t stand a man like you, Mr. Quincy. You are not short of women, why do you have to force Madeline to stay with you? Her safety is not guaranteed and had to suffer.”

Noah narrowed his eyes. The Solace family dared to send someone to follow him. Great!

Madeline sensed Noah’s anger. Once he moved, Alexander’s hand will be impaired. She had to intervene. A needle was stuck in Noah’s wrist.

Noah felt numb in his wrist and Alexander was pulled by Madeline to stand behind her. He looked at Noah with provocative eyes.

“Take a look at yourself in the mirror first before you want to steal my woman.” After Noah finished speaking, he attacked Alexander at a fast speed. If Noah’s punch hit Alexander, he would probably faint immediately.

Madeline sighed in her heart while she took the hit from Noah. Her entire arm went numb and caused her to move backward several steps.

“Enough! If you want to fight, go out and fight! I wouldn’t care if you died!”

After saying that, Madeline went straight to Dylan’s consultation room.
