Willow’s stomach felt much better when she took her painkillers after eating some pastries and appetizers.

Sitting on the bar stool, Willow took a short break. After that, she grabbed her bag and headed upstairs.

“Matthew, I really have something important to discuss with you today. Can I take a few minutes of your time? Let’s have a good chat,” she asked brightly.

Matthew didn’t speak. His gaze remained fixed on Willow.

Once, there had been light within his clear gaze. But now, only a cold glare was left in it.

Since he didn’t speak, Willow assumed that he had acquiesced.

Suppressing the bitterness in her heart, she carefully took out Aaron’s notebook from her bag.

“I know it might be too much to ask you to sing the song for Aaron at his grave. However, you wouldn’t have thought so if you still remembered Aaron and I.

“In the past, you would sing “Little Star” to Aaron every night when we were in the dungeon,” Willow said.

“You got along very well with Aaron. You taught him how to count and read in the dungeon. You even sang “Little Star” for him. Matthew, don’t you remember Aaron and I in the slightest?” she asked.

He sneered, and his gaze became colder. “You’ve really come up with all sorts of nonsense just to cling to me,

“But when I was injured and recuperating at the nursing home, Willa was the one who never left my side!” he said confidently.

“There was no you, nor was anyone called Aaron there!” Matthew sneered.

Willow gazed at Matthew in disbelief. She never thought that he would have a segment of false memorles,

Could she have been in the wrong? Instead of losing his memory, had Matthew been hypnotized by someone with ulterior motives?

According to the media reports, Matthew and Louis were a pair of loving brothers. However, Willow knew better than anyone the amount of abominable things Louis had done to Matthew.
