Chapter 28
Zayn picked up a photo from the ground. It captured the moment when Matthew kicked Willow’s knee.
When combined with the previous photos, it looked like she was throwing herself at him and being kicked away with disgust.
Zayn’s eyes were filled with distrust, and Willow didn’t feel like defending herself anymore.
She forced a smile, and despite feeling so world–weary and helpless, she still looked stunningly beautiful.
“Zayn, it seems like you’ve forgotten we’re already divorced.
“This means that from now on, I will no longer be your wife, and our marriage and wedding are irrelevant!
“So, whether I hook up with a man or a group of men, it has nothing to do with you anymore! Zayn, you’re no longer someone significant to me!”
“Willow, how dare you!” Zayn shot back.
He suddenly pressed Willow onto the sofa.
“Willow, even if I don’t want you anymore, don’t think about shacking up with other men!”
Willow knew that he would disregard her wishes and do what he usually did to her next. She didn’t struggle, she simply looked at him tiredly.
“Zayn, do you know what I’ve just done outside? I’m someone who’s willing to do anything. Zayn, aren’t you disgusted? I remember you’re a clean freak.”
Zayn pushed her away and left with a cold remark, “Willow, you’re truly despicable!” Then, he left without looking back.
Willow crashed heavily onto the cold floor, and waves of intense pain engulfed her stomach.
“Let me out!” Willow’s voice was hoarse.
She realized that even though she had come out of that sack, her body was still weak and in pain.
“Willow.”
Wilhelmina’s voice suddenly sounded behind Willow. She turned around and saw Wilhelmina looking at her with a smirk. “I heard from Skyler that you really like Caroline! Since you like her so much, why not become just like her, disabled!”
What did she mean by becoming disabled like Caroline…
It was well known that Caroline’s left hand was missing a pinky finger.
Could it be that Skyler and Wilhelmina wanted to chop off Willow’s left pinky finger too?
