She threw herself into his arms and hugged him tightly. “Mr. Dawson, thank you!”

Willow had so much she wanted to say to Kenan, but in the end, it all boiled down to only two words–Thank you.

As he was about to turn around, he noticed the bloodstains on Willow’s white gloves.

He quickly grabbed her hand. “Silly girl, what happened to your hand?”

Kenan clearly didn’t believe her words. Without hesitation, he seized her hand and tore off her glove.

Kenan didn’t buy it. “How could it be just an accident! We’re going to the hospital!”

Willow didn’t want to go to the hospital because it would cost money. But despite Kenan’s usually good temper, when he became stubborn, it was like trying to move a mountain.

In the end, she could only follow him to the hospital.

Kenan had insisted on Willow staying in the hospital, but she refused so many times that he simply relented in the end. However, he demanded that she remain in the hospital for observation overnight
