(Alexander’s POV). 

I paced my study, my broken arm throbbing with every step. Manon prowled just beneath my skin, his frustration feeding mine, his growls vibrating 

through me 

The humiliation burned hotter than the pain, each memory replaying in a loop. Sourlett’s cold emerald eyes. Homary’s hand crushing my arm like it was 

paper. Their sneers. Her defiance.

Mason rumbled in agreement. We’re letting her walk all over un. Do something! 

Through the pack bonds, I tried reaching Scarlett again, Nothing. A wall of silence. Not just from me, but from every attempt by the Winter Pack 

“Useless,” I hissed.

I froze mid–step. “Mocked us?” My voice come out like a deadly whisper. 

Jason nodded hesitantly. “She mentioned Grace.”

A roar ripped from my chest before I could stop it. Mason howled in fury, and my grip tightened on the desk until I thought the wood would c***k under my hold 

“She dates?” I growled, venom dripping from my voice. “That ungrateful-” 

“She severed the connection right after, Jason added quickly, stepping back as if to avoid the storm brewing within me. 

“Coward,” I spat, though we both know she wasn’t 

“She’s protected, Alpha.” Jason’s tone was cautious now. “We need to tread carefully- 

“Carefully? After everything she’s done? My voice rose, almost trembling with rage. I paced again, Mason’s growls growing louder within me. “She insults me. Ridicules my position. Wields her little empire like a weapon.” 

“She’s under the Shadow Organization’s protection,” Jason interrupted softly, though firmly. 

I turned on him, my amber eyes blazing. “I don’t care who protects he‘ 

But part of me did care. My mutinous mind conjured the Image of Roman again. His ice bli stare. The sickening ***k of my bones under his grip. Mason snarled at the memory, just as humiliated as I was. 

She severed ties with the Winter Pack, Alpha, Jason added after a moment’s pause. “And now she’s mocking us openly. Her confidence doesn’t come from nowhere. We’re dealing with more than just Scarlett Winters now.” 

Jason’s words made serue I hated that they did. 

Homan. The Shadow Organization. Scarlett had bulli a fortress of leu, and none of them were the kind you crossed without consequences. 

But the sting of humiliation didn’t let me think rationally. My pride wouldn’t let it. 

“You will find a way to bring her down,” I demanded, stepping closer to Jason, daring him to argue. 

He didn’t. But the doubt in his eyes spoke volume

“Sabotage the healing center,” I ordered, my voice ice–cold. 7 want her empire in ashes by the end of the week.”

She would pay. 

They both would. 

(Marcus’s POV) 

The Winter Pack house was in chaos. 

The news of Scarlett’s healing center wasn’t just spreading–it was igniting fires at every turn, Wolves whispered in hushed tones, their uncertainty feeding the undercurrent of tension rattling the pack. 

Sarah’s pacing didn’t help. 

“She’s been planning this all along,” she hissed, her steps quick and erratic. “Deceiving us. Building an empire behind our backs” 

My patience was thin. Thinner than it had ever been. Sitting in my Alpha chair, my fists clenched against the armrests as I watched her spiral into 

another rant. 

“We should’ve kept her under closer watch,” she continued, her voice venomous. “Now look at her. Flaunting her power Destroying her own family. 

I clenched my jaw, allowing her to keep talking. 

Even Grace chimed in, her frall voice carrying just enough edge to add to Sarah’s outrage. “She’s threatening everything. Her pale blue eyes flicked toward me, framing herself as the innocent victim once again. “Father, we need to stop her before she brings us down any further.” 

Her words dug deeper than she realized. 

“She’s your sister,” I reminded sharply, though the word tasted bitter on my tongue now. 

Grace flinched but recovered quickly. “She stopped being that when she declared war on her own bloodline.” 

Sarah let out a huff of agreement, finally turning to face me directly. “Marcus,” she said, voice sharper now, “granted, I was lenient

Sarah opened her mouth to object, but no words came out 

I hated the flicker of guilt that passed through her expression 

“Send for her,” I ordered, my voice sharp as steel. “She will answer for this.”
