November 17th
We reached the house and Leo flicked the light switch and the hallway was immediately illuminated with yellow light.
"I should probably wash my hands..." Leo stated looking down at the now dry blood that covered him.
As Leo went into the kitchen to use the sink I took my shoes off before hearing my phone buzz in my pocket.
I withdrew it and immediately noticed a notification from Amber.
"Who's texting you?" Leo asked from the kitchen.
Shit. Operation try to lie to Leo is a go.
"Oh nobody," I replied stuffing my phone back into my pocket.
"How can nobody text you? He doesn't even have a phone," Leo questioned in a slightly drunk manner.
"Just somebody from school," I clarified.
"Can I see then?" he asked raising an eyebrow and holding his now clean hand out to take my phone.
"Do you not trust me?" I questioned.
"Of course I don't fucking trust me," he said, "Give it to me."
I forced half a smile before placing it in his palm.
"Amber Valentinetti?" Leo stated his voice deepening. "One of them goes to your school you say?"
"Just because you've slept with her doesn't mean we can't be friends. We have at least one thing in common..." I argued.
"I thought I forbade you from talking to her?"
"I'm not talking to her. I haven't replied yet have I?"
He pressed a few buttons on my phone and there were a few beeps, "I deleted her number. Just in case you find yourself accidentally replying or some shit."
"Leo!" I said taking my phone back. "Who gave you the right to dictate who I talk to?"
"I'm Alpha," he said with a shrug. "Why do I have to keep reminding you that?"
I gave him a sarcastic smile before he leant back on the counter and let out a dramatic groan.
"I'm hungry," he announced. "Like really fucking hungry. Do we have any pancakes?"
"You're the one that did the grocery shopping," I replied.
"Did I buy pancakes?" He asked.
"I don't know. I wasn't there," I said.
"I went grocery shopping without you?"
I nodded.
"And I didn't get pancakes?"
I shrugged.
"Waffles?"
I shrugged again.
"Shit," he cursed leaning his forehead against the fridge. "What a fucking disaster."
I placed my fingers on my lips, stifling a laugh.
"It's not funny," he stated.
"I'd make you some pancakes," I offered.
"You would?" he asked his eyes lighting up like a child in a candy shop.
"Of course," I replied, "IF you hadn't treated me like a piece of shit today."
He let out a sigh.
"Can't you just do it because you love me?" he asked taking my hand and kissing it.
"I may love you but I certainly don't like you," I replied.
He put on a pair of puppy eyes.
"Ella please," he said.
I laughed as I shook my head.
He then came forward and lifted me up by my waist and up high above him.
"Please," he repeated as I squealed.
"You know I like to abide by the laws of gravity," I explained. "Put me down, Leonardo."
"Will you make me pancakes if I put you down?" he asked, only lifting me higher.
