Alvera,the Revenger,Married the Billionaire novel Chapter 19

Alvera stayed at home for two days after she was discharged from the hospital.

On the afternoon of the third day, she drove herself to a used-car shop.

She planned to sell the car.

People judged her every time she drove the four-million dollar Bentley out.

She felt like a sugar baby driving the car.

It was not easy to sell such a luxurious car.

She registered the car with the shop and went to a bookshop nearby.

The bookstore was very quiet, so she also jumped when her phone rang suddenly.

Several people in the store were starting to look at her. She took out her phone hurriedly and accepted the call without looking.

She regretted picking up the phone when she saw the caller ID, but it was already too late.

A cold voice came from the other end of the phone. " Where are you?"

...

"Outside."

"Address."

Alvera looked down at the book she was reading and gave him the address without any hesitation.

After hanging up, she grabbed ten more books as fast as she could, then sat down and continued reading leisurely.

...

Half an hour later, Roland arrived at the bookstore.

He found Alvera sitting on the floor against the bookshelves.

From afar, her quiet stature was pleasing to the eye.

A shadow appeared in front of Alvera.

She looked up from her book and smiled, "Mr. Francois, you're quick."

Roland hated her half-hearted smile.

"Come out," he said.

Alvera did as she was told and picked up the books beside her.

She walked around him, walked to the counter and put down the books. Then she turned and looked at him. "Honey, pay up."

...

Roland paused and stared at her. "Honey?"

The cashier was already checking out the books.

No wonder she was so quick to tell him where she was just now.

"You can pay with your card," Alvera added, before he could refuse.

"I spent it."

"Spent it?"

"Yeah, I spent it. Don't ask me how. I used it on something meaningful."

"So, you are penniless now?"

"Not really, Samuel gave me a credit card, but it would be shameless to use his money."

"You know shame?"

Roland had never met such a woman before. She was one of the most shameless woman he had ever met.

"Mr. Francois, there's no need to provoke me like this. I've heard worse things before. This doesn't affect me," Alvera said.

She walked to her car and asked, "Do you want to take a last ride in this car?"

Roland looked at her coldly.

His long look made Alvera uncomfortable.

She pouted and asked, "Mr. Francois, what did you want from me?"

Roland took out his wallet again, pulled out a card and threw it to her.

She caught it agilely. "What's this?"

"You are not allowed to sell the car. If you need money, use this card. Give Samuel's card back to him. I can't let my wife use another man's card," he said.
