Alvera,the Revenger,Married the Billionaire novel Chapter 5

"How did I do, Mr Francois?" Alvera asked.

"I accept your demands," Roland said, with a wicked glint in his eyes.

Was the answer correct? Did she really get it right?

Her taste in wine was not that good in the first place, and she hadn't touched wine for four years. What's more, the way she tasted the wine just now was so differernt...

Did God help her?

Roland was fiddling with the cork from the bottle of wine

which had the number 2005  on it.

He wasn't going to let her see that, though.

From what he could see, this transaction was very interesting.

Roland stuffed the cork back into the bottle and stood up.

Alvera followed him and asked, "When can I get what I want?"

"Today," he replied.

"Then... What about you?"

"Oh? You can't wait to get me?"

Roland approached to her seductively.

She took a step back quickly. "I'm talking about the marriage."

Roland smiled. He could see that Alvera was pretending to be calm, even though she was obviously scared.

"It's up to you," he said.

"We'll do it today," she looked at him firmly.

Roland stared at her intently with his arms folded.

Alvera held her head high and looked at him in the eyes.

"Fine."

Roland agreed? Just like that?

Alvera felt uneasy.

She knew that Roland was not a man who would easily agree to her demands.

Was this all just for saving Andrina?

An hour later, Alvera arrived at the family home of the Earhart Family.

She stood opposite the sofa looking at Thomas Earhart and his wife Luna.

Luna looked at her coldly. "How dare you come back here, you little b*stard."

"Isn't this my home? Why can't I come back here?" Alvera asked.

"Do I have to remind you that you and your sl*tty mother were thrown out of the Earhart Family four years ago?"
