Roland untied Alvera's bathrobe, but she shouted, "Turn off the light."

"Why? You're afraid that you'll lose interest when you see my face?" He asked.

"You might bedespise my body," she retorted. "I've been in prison, my body is dirty."

He frowned as he saw at the stubbornness and pride on her face.

"You worry too much," he said.

"We're husband and wife after all. I'm doing this for your sake, Mr Francois," she said, smiling brightly.

"Fine, as you wish." He turned off the light.

The room suddenly became dark.

She clutched the bed sheets tightly.

Roland did not see the fear on her face in the dark. He kissed her fiercely, punishing her weak body.

She closed her eyes and gritted her teeth, enduring all this.

It was her who started the game, so she had no reason to regret this.

She could remember everything that happened on that horrible night four years ago.

She dreamed of killing that man.

She was petrified.

Roland stopped suddenly and got up.

Alvera loosened her grip on the bedsheet.still petrified.

She was still petrified without any movements.

Roland lied on the other side of the bed, his eyes shining in the dark like a predator.

This woman... was so much like Andrina at that night four years ago.

There's no need to continue. He was right.

He could not forget the body that could ignite his.

He got up and left the room.

Alvera didn't know why he suddenly stopped, but she was relieved that she dodged that bullet.

...

The next morning, Roland opened the door to Alvera's room.

She suddenly sat up in shock and looked around cautiously, only to find that she was fine.

"Why are you so shocked?" Roland asked, surprised at her sudden reaction.
