Chapter 1111 Teach Amber a Lesson
The hospital staff noticed that Tessa was in a foul mood, so they comforted her, “Miss Reinhart, take a deep breath. You’re pregnant, so you should take care of yourself and not mind the patient.”
Tessa pursed her lips in response without saying a word. However, judging by her trembling body, they could tell that she was currently very emotional since she was affected by Amber’s words. After all, her unborn child was an innocent party in all this, so she could not comprehend why the old hag had to be so vicious.
The hospital staff saw Tessa’s reaction and no longer spoke another word. If the staff in particular found those words vicious, it would naturally have a deeper impact on the involved party. Essentially, there was no point in convincing one to ignore things if one was not the person going through them.
After some time, Tessa trailed after the hospital staff and walked out of the ward with a thunderous expression. As soon as Edward saw that, he instantly rushed over and expressed concern, “Mistress, are you alright?”
Although he had been waiting outside, he heard everything that happened in the room, so he was fairly worried.
A grimaced Tessa refused to talk about it, so she calmly replied, “Let’s go.”

Sensing her downcast mood, Edward did not pursue the topic any further and escorted her out of the hospital. Even after she arrived home, she remained reasonably upset.
He watched her disappearing figure worriedly, so he took out his phone and gave Nicholas a call. “President Sawyer, I’ve sent Mistress back home, but she’s in a bad mood. It might be better if you come home.”
“What happened at the hospital?” Nicholas’ cold voice rang out from the other end, but it was filled with concern.
Edward did not hide anything and recounted the words he had heard while standing outside. “Old Mrs. Reinhart was extremely despicable as she even cursed Mistress’ unborn child.”
On the other end of the line, Nicholas’ countenance turned thunderous upon hearing the incident. However, his main concern was Tessa. After hanging up the phone, he swiftly sorted out the work he was doing and rushed back home without having lunch.
