“Why don‘t you see a doctor?” 

“I don‘t want to.” 

After Tessa finished speaking, she didn‘t dare to look directly at Nicholas because she had a guilty conscience. Nicholas didn‘t notice that, as all his attention was devoted to the fact that she was not feeling well. 

“Then have you sought out medicine?” 

Hearing the man‘s relentless questioning, Tessa couldn‘t resist, so she gritted her teeth and said, “I can‘t take medicine.” 

“Why can‘t you take medicine?” 

Nicholas‘ dark eyes were locked tightly on Tessa, his brows furrowed hard. Tessa bit her lower lip lightly, not knowing how to answer. Looking at the girl who had been silent for a long time, Nicholas couldn‘t help but ask again, “What‘s the matter?”

Tessa nodded and motioned for Kylie to leave. After she went out and closed the door, she picked up the phone again and put it to his ear, saying, “Master Nicholas, she seems to be fine.” 

Nicholas grunted, but the worry in his heart did not diminish. 

“I want to know about Tessa‘s recent health condition. Is there anything wrong?” 

“Miss Tessa has been in poor health recently.” Kylie did not dare to keep it a secret and answered truthfully.
