Edward was unaware of what she was thinking, so he thought that she didn’t mind. After nodding slightly, he set the table for Nicholas, saying, “Your meal is ready, President Sawyer.”

Propping her chin in her hand, she said in a grave tone, “If it were me, I wouldn’t be willing to live apart from the person I love. And besides, I hear that it’s difficult for long-distance relationships to stand any tests most of the time.”

Hearing her meaningful words, Nicholas looked vaguely displeased.
