Yun Shang was surprised. She turned to Qian Zhuo and looked at her in astonishment. Although she had instructed the secret guards to catch the Eldest Princess, who was pretending to be the Granny Ying, at all costs, it was not an easy task. She knew that the princess had made adequate preparations as she hid herself under her eyes.
Even though the princess didn't expect that Yun Shang could know her identity so quickly, it was not easy to catch her.
"How did you catch her?" Yun Shang asked softly.
Qian Zhuo was pleased and said with a smile, "That old lady is very crafty. so in order not to alert her, the shadow guard told her that it was her highness to send for her to guide other clerks in the Jin City.
Of course Granny Ying believed, but when she just walked out of the Yuan mansion, she seemed to sense something was wrong. She told a lie that she needed to go back to get the account book and wanted to run away. And there were still forty or fifty people waiting for her outside. Unfortunately, she was not familiar with the setting of the environment. The shadow guards chased after her for a whole night and finally caught her. " Qian Zhuo face was full of smiles.
Yun Shang grinned as she heard that the Eldest Princess was not familiar with the terrain. Qin Yi had helped Yun Shang dressed. She wore a long light green dress and a robe outside of the same color. Yun Shang sat in front of the dresser, picked up the sandalwood comb and handed it to Qin Yi. Then she said in a low voice, "The Eldest Princess, has run away."
Qian Zhuo was still immersed in ecstasy when Yun Shang's voice suddenly broke the silence. She stood still, and said with doubt, "No. the secret guards caught her after a day and a night."
Yun Shang chuckled, "Qian Zhuo, who do you think is more familiar with the terrain of the State of Xia, the secret guard or the Eldest Princess and her people?"
Qian Zhuo didn't know why Yun Shang asked such a question. She quietly thought about it for a long time and answered sulkily, "The Princess and her people. But... "
Yun Shang nodded with a smile, "What's more, she is running for her life."
Qian Zhuo lost her spirit when she heard Yun Shang's words. After Yun Shang finished combing her hair, she stood up and said, "Anyway, we've caught them. Let's go and have a look."
Qian Zhuo responded, but her voice was still sullen. She walked out of Prince Rui's mansion from the back door with Yun Shang, and entered a small alley. After a while, she knocked on a wooden door nearby, and the door opened.
It was a small yard, which seemed to have three or four rooms. Clothes were hanging on the ground. Qian Zhuo took Yun Shang to one of the rooms. A woman was tied to the chair in the room, looking exactly like that Granny Ying, whom Yun Shang had seen at the gate of the Yuan mansion. Yun Shang stared at the woman, and walked to her. She raised her hand to touch the old woman's temple, and quickly took a thin layer of material from her face.
After removing the disguise, she was really just a young woman with ordinary looks. Yun Shang glanced at her indifferently and then told Qian Zhuo, "Interrogate her and then dispose of her.."
Then she turned around and walked out. But when she arrived at the courtyard, she suddenly stopped.
Someone was staring at her with strong eyes, and it was hard for Yun Shang to ignore it. Yun Shang turned her head to look at the woman in the room, who was tied to a chair. She was staring at Yun Shang, with pleading in her eyes.
Yun Shang raised her eyebrows, turned around and went back into her room.
Qian Zhuo thought Yun Shang had something to tell her, so she raised her head and looked at Yun Shang. Yun Shang shook her head and whispered, "Take away the handkerchief that is stuffed in her mouth..."
Qian Zhuo responded and took out the brocade handkerchief from the woman's mouth. The woman opened her mouth, but said nothing. The woman looked painful, with tears in her eyes. It seemed that she wanted to say something, but she could not speak it out.
Yun Shang frowned and stared at the woman for a long time. There was a moment of silence before she attacked her dumb acupoint. But it didn't seem to work. Yun Shang stared at her for a long time and said, "She was poisoned to be dumb."
Qian Zhuo said indifferently, "She's most likely a subordinate of the Eldest Princess who is so insignificant, or one that they caught at will. Anyway, she has seen your highness, so we can't keep her alive."
