Chapter 145 The last day 

“Okay.” 

1 held her hand, and we stopped. 

“Show me how you jump the Lutz.” 

Ava skated around, she started the crisscross. Her body was straight, her hand was in a suitable position, but as soon as she was at her take off, I saw the problem. She skated to me. 

“What did your coach say?” 

“The pigeon toe. He said I’m not doing it correctly. And therefore it won’t be a perfect outside edge.” 

“He is correct, Ava. I will show you slowly.” 

I tried to show her everything slowly. She watched my feet carefully. Then I stood in front of her, and I tried to lead her. First time she couldn’t do it correctly, she fell, but at 

least her take off was correct. It took about a half an hour, and she finally could land it. She looked thrilled, and I clapped my hands. 

“Well done, Ava. That was a perfect single Lutz.“ 

“You see Alice? The problem is with my skating that you aren’t around. That was so much better when you taught me.” 

“Ava, I’m thrilled to teach you, but I’m about to compete as well. I must train hard.” 

She looked at me sadly. 

“And what about after?” 

I smiled. 

“I think I’ll have time to teach you after the Olympics.” 

“Then please do, Alice. And don’t disappear again.” She looked at me like she was begging. That hurt me too. 

“Okay.”

“I have to go now, Alice. Am I going to see you tomorrow?”

“I’ll see you there then.” 

We waved to each other, and I left the ice. When I put my covers on, I heard Leah. 

“Thank you Alice, she struggled a lot with that jump.” 

“It’s my pleasure.” 

She smiled nervously. 

“I’m so glad you are in good health, we 

thought… 

I looked at her. 

Chapter 145 The last day 

“Thank you. Leah,” 

She nodded, and she looked behind me, which told me someone was there. I turned around and Lucas waited for me. 

“Are we going?” 

I smiled at Leah and she smiled back, apparently interested in who that guy was with me, but I didn’t want to introduce them to each other. I thought maybe Seth could be at ease if he thinks that I have someone else with me. 

We had lunch together again, then I went to the hotel with him to meet the others. I spent about an hour with them, then Lucas wanted to have dinner with me again, but I told him I was tired, so I preferred to go home. 

Actually, I had no problem at all. I just hoped that Gideon could spend the night with me again. That would have been awful to know he was sleeping in one house with Amber. When I arrived back home, I took my phone, and I noticed unhappily I had no message at all. I was about to eat something when I heard my doorbell. 1 ran to the door happily, and I opened it. He stood there with a smile. I pulled him in and I hugged him tightly. 

“How come you are here so early?” 

He grinned. 

“She had something important to do. I do not know where she went, but that came in the fucking good time. Have you had dinner?” 

“No.” 

“I’ll take you out. Are you ready?” 

I looked at my sports wear. 

“Well, if you aren’t taking 

ne me to a posh place.” 

He smiled. 

“Not then.” 

And he held my hand, and he led me down. We sat in his car and he drove to a quiet place. The restaurant indeed wasn’t posh, but it looked nice. I didn’t feel bad about getting in there in my outfit. 

We had a pleasant time while we ate. I told him everything about today, including Luens. He took it completely differently. It seemed like he understood I was in love with him, and Lucas was a friend of mine only. 

When I told him about Ava, he wasn’t too happy. He seemed worried. I held his hand and I looked at him. 

“What is wrong?” 

He smiled at me, which wasn’t really a smile. 

“I just don’t know what to tell her. I mean, first, I didn’t tell the truth. Second, now that she found you, I don’t know if Seth will let her talk to us from tomorrow. 

I frowned. 

“Why? W 

What will happen tomorrow?” 

He smiled and held my hand tighter before he let it go. He took his phone and showed me pictures of a beautiful house. It was huge too, quite similar to the one that he owned. 

“What is this, Gideon?” I asked him, confused. 

“Do you like it?” He asked me as an answer, 

“Yes, but why?” 

Chapter 

145 The last day 

“I put the deposit down. I wanted to show you first, before I buy it 

I was truly surprised. 

“What do you mean?” I frowned, 

“For us. This will be our home, if you like it.” 

I laughed nervously in disbelief, and that made him frown this time. 

“Alice, I told you. From tomorrow, there won’t be anything that would hold me back from being with you. If you don’t mind, I would spend a little time with you in your flat till I’ll get this house sorted, What do you say?” 

I think he shocked me at that moment. I just couldn’t believe my ears. 

“Alice, you 

don’t look so happy about it” 

He looked at me with a bit of fear in his eyes. I just realised that I said nothing to him, and it woke me up from my daze. 

“I’m sorry Gideon, I think I just got shocked. 11 

I laughed nervously, and I held his hand again. 

“Yes, I mean, I’d love to be with you again.” 

He sighed in relief. 

“I thought you were going to refuse me.“1 shook my head. 

“Are you joking? I’m looking forward to living with you again.” 

He smiled at me. 

“Great.” 

“But there is one thing that I don’t understand.”
