Frightened, Summer quickly dialed 911. At the hospital, Mia was rushed into the emergency room. 

Pacing anxiously outside, Summer was worried sick. 

What if something happened to Mia? What would she do?

In the VIP suite at RH Hospital, owned by Genesis Corporation, Hunter stood by the bed, his anger palpable. 

Phone in hand, he scolded Jenna. “You’re pregnant, and yet you’re up in the middle of the night arguing with Mia? Real mature.” 

Tears filled Jenna’s eyes. “Mia called, and since you weren’t around, I thought it might be important. But instead, she accused me of stealing her bracelet, stealing her husband! I couldn’t help but snap back, and now she’s threatening to destroy my reputation, saying I’ll never get back on stage again. 

“Hunter, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have answered. I’ll go to bed now, please don’t be mad.” She wiped her tears and pulled the blanket over her head. 

Hunter sighed, gently pulling the blanket back to reveal Jenna’s tear–streaked face. His tone softened.” You’ve been through so much to get pregnant. If you lose the baby over this, you’ll be the one who suffers. I’ll talk to Mia and make sure she leaves you alone. 

“And as for tonight’s trending post, I don’t want to see anything like that again.” His voice grew sharper at 

the end. 

Jenna met his gaze, feeling a sudden, unsettling sense of being caught. Though his eyes were calm, she couldn’t shake the feeling that he saw right through her. 

She bit her lip, cautiously saying, “Hunter, I only wanted to use the news buzz to drown out the previous trending posts. They exaggerated everything. If you’re upset, I can issue a statement right now, saying the photos were staged and the bracelet is fake. I’ll ask everyone to stay rational and not spread rumors.” “Go to sleep. I’ve already asked Sam to handle it.” Hunter’s voice was cool and detached. Frustration burned inside Jenna, but she only clutched the bedsheet tighter, her expression full of guilt. Did I cause trouble for you? I’m really sorry. I didn’t expect things to blow up like this.” 

She had carefully calculated the timing, assuming that by releasing the news at that hour, Hunter wouldn’t notice until morning. 

By then, the story would have spread, and even if Hunter had it taken down, the damage would already be done. She was convinced Mia wouldn’t be able to keep her cool after seeing it. 

Once Mia confronted her, she would have the perfect opportunity to completely ruin Mia’s reputation. Not even Mr. Jasper Sr. would be able to protect her then. 

What.she hadn’t anticipated was how quickly Hunter found out. 

But at least Mia had seen the news. She couldn’t imagine Mia staying calm and not confronting Hunter. Once they started fighting, she could fan the flames from the sidelines. How could they not end up
