Anton Brotherhood novel Chapter 58

Anton had a headache thinking about it. He decided to take one step at a time, acting according to circumstances! Now he thought he should visit the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the head of the province.

After thinking of it, Anton took up the phone to call Jason. “Jason, help me contact the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. I want to meet him!”

“When? Is it now?”

“Yes, you contact him, the sooner the better!” “Well, Boss Williams, wait for my news. I will go meet him now!”

“Good!” Anton hung up and walked on the playground, quietly stating that he hoped that the secretary would not let him down.

“Anton!” On the playground, Anton dropped his head to think about his ideas. He suddenly heard someone shouting his name. He turned around and realized that it was the girl who was talking with him at the disco that day. She must be Bobbi Robinson, and she was holding a thermo flask and wanted to come towards him by herself.

Anton smiled and nodded, “Hey, Bobbi!”

Bobbi came up and remarked, “Well, Anton, I didn't expect you to be so nice! I assume anybody who has trained in martial arts should be someone with a big ego!”

Anton wasn’t the young man who had been embarrassed after being laughed at by a girl three years ago. He sleekly said, “I am a bold person, but I am also a person who knows how to be nice!”

Bobbi flushed a bit because of Anton's stare. Her eyes flustered, and she lowered her head and said, “Anton, how long have you been practicing Tai Chi? Is it hard to practice? I hope you can teach me when you have time.” Seeing Anton's beaming gaze, Bobbi quickly said, “Don't... don't get me wrong. I don't mean anything else. I only want to learn something about self-defense!”

“Well, I didn't say I misunderstood!” Anton glanced at Bobbi with a smile, thinking that this girl was still very interesting. When Bobbi listened to Anton's statements, her head fell lower, and she murmured, “Can you teach me?”

Anton smiled and added, “It's hard to learn Tai Chi, and it requires persistence!” Anton didn't joke about this. It took great effort to practice Tai Chi. Without the basis, just one or two months of learning might not witness the benefits, and very few people could persevere in studying Tai Chi.

Bobbi replied confidently, “Don't worry. I will be able to hold on!” Then she changed the topic, “Have you had your lunch?”

Seeing Anton shaking his head, Bobbi's face was red, and she added with a smile, “Well, you wait for me to send the thermos flask back to the dormitory then let's go dine together!”

Seeing Bobbi's happy smile, Anton's heart was startled. He quickly replied, “I'm sorry. I have things to do for a while, so I have to leave school. Let’s make it next time!” Anton noticed that Bobbi was kind of into himself, but the White sisters made him feel extremely difficult. If he had something with a third lady... he didn't dare to think about what would happen. It would be terrible anyway!

Bobbi nodded disappointedly, and questioned, “Will you have time tonight?”

“Oh...” Seeing the expression of expectation on Bobbi's face, Anton couldn't bear to reject and paused.

Bobbi didn't give him time to think about it, and replied with a smile, “Well, that's it. Later I…” Bobbi paused before completing the sentence because she noticed a gorgeous and wonderful girl standing beneath a large tree not far behind Anton. She was the one who called Anton away from the classroom last time.

Although she felt that the connection between Anton and her might be odd, she looked at her provocatively, and exclaimed loudly, “That's it. I will see you at night!” After Bobbi finished speaking, she turned and went away, and snorted as she walked past the girl.

That girl, Wendy, was the new bodyguard that Jason found for Anton. Wendy simply continued smiling as she heard Bobbi's snort.

Anton realized the presence of Wendy, his eyes sparkling with surprise. He had no idea how she knew he was here. Wendy smiled innocently as she noticed Anton gazing at her.

Underneath innocent and beautiful look lay a cold heart! Others might not be able to see it, but Anton could see into Wendy's heart at a look. Anton nodded at her and Wendy put away her smile feeling shocked due to his gaze.

Anton walked out of the school, waiting for Jason's call while wondering about his ideas. Wendy was not far behind him.

When it was nearly one o'clock, Jason finally called.

“Anton, great news! At 6 p.m., Chris Wilson (Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee) will arrange a meeting at Shangri-La Hotel (a well-known venue in City H, a five-star hotel). He said that he could spare his time to meet you!”
