Jiang Haidai flinched upon hearing the sudden cry. She turned and looked behind her when she saw a zombie rushing right towards her. The speed of this zombie was faster than the ones that she had dealt with and it was much more ferocious.

Seeing the monster suddenly attack her, Jiang Haidai stiffened but even in the face of danger, her maternal instincts kicked in. she covered her belly with her arm and turned her back on the zombie while hugging her son; she crouched down.

Bai Meiyue looked at the woman in front of her and nodded in satisfaction. At least this woman was not a complete waste. Even though her face was covered with red scratches and black smudges, the woman didn’t care about herself; she put her children first.
