When Bai Meiyue saw the young woman sneaking behind Lei Qian, she was speechless. But at the same time, she was even more certain that she wouldn’t be staying in this team any longer. In Lu Yin’s eyes the only life that mattered was Lei Qian’s. As long as she could become closer to Lei Qian, anyone’s life and death didn’t matter to Lu Yin.
Such a person was selfish to their bones. They only cared about their obsession and nothing else.
Bai Meiyue didn’t even dare to think about keeping such a person near her son. Lu Yin firmly believed that Lei Qian was hers, if Bai Meiyue stayed with Lei Qian, then she would only be putting her son in danger.
After two hours of continuous attacks, they finally dealt with most of the zombies. The corpses of the zombies were thrown inside an empty alley and the crystal nuclei inside their heads were dug out. Lei Qian raised his hand and slammed his fist at the base of the pile, lighting it up.
Flames shot up to the sky and black fumes started to rise in the air slowly.
Lei Qian turned to look at the rest of the team and said, "Get inside the car. Even though we have cleaned up, it will not take long for more zombies to appear."
They all knew that the scent of blood was lingering in the air, even if the pile of corpses was burnt, the smell of rotten blood would still linger around on this street until the pile was completely taken care of.
Since they didn’t want to waste any more time fighting with the zombies while being stuck in the same street, everyone got in the cars and then drove past the pile of burning corpses.
"There is a mall not far away from the city hospital," Bai Meiyue recalled seeing the mall in her last life. When she was trying to escape from the city with Bai Qingshi and the rest, they met with a bunch of survivors who wanted to collect some supplies from the mall.
But eventually they ended up attracting a bunch of zombies. Because there were a lot of supplies in the mall, a lot of survivors rushed inside of it, which made the situation chaotic. Bai Meiyue would never forget the terror she felt when she had to fight with more than fifty zombies and collect the supplies at the same time.
If she wasn’t wrong, then maybe Shen Zhen might be at the mall as well? After all, the apocalypse had just started and this was the biggest mall in the city. It should still have enough supplies to support a lot of people.
When Lei Qian heard her response, he hummed and turned the car around so that they were driving towards the mall first before the hospital.
Bai Meiyue heaved a sigh as she summoned a droplet of water. She first washed her hands and face and then summoned a few more droplets for her brothers to wash their faces. Once they were done, she flicked her fingers, and the dirty water droplets disappeared out of the window.
She was just thinking about whether to ask the team to turn around and leave when the zombies that were gathering outside the mall sensed the presence of other humans. They turned to look at Bai Meiyue and the rest of her team and started to stagger over to where the entire team had parked their cars. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
