Jean wiped her eyes and stopped crying. She looked at Albert still with her glistening eyes and asked, "What's your idea?"

Albert was immediately stunned by her reaction. The woman who had been crying moments before looked entirely different from the woman looking at him eagerly. It made him feel like it was an illusion, but he shook this thought away.

After shaking off the clutter in his mind, he pretended to hesitate for a few seconds before saying, "As his twin brother, I know Adolf's temper very well. Today, Avery's behavior really angered him and made him even a little depressed. No, you just told us a while ago that you are terrified of your brother, and so if he knew you helped us, who knows what he might do to you as well! Plus, I don't think this plan would be very good for Avery as well, given her condition. Her wish is just to stay here for a few more days, but if we take Avery out of the hospital in Adolf's absence so rashly and impulsively, how do you think she would be able to explain everything to Adolf when she returns? "Yes, exactly." Albert nodded and gave them all glances. "Otherwise, what is it? Like I said, think about it. Why did Adolf suddenly become a manager while he used to be a high-ranking gangster? Because it's a fast way to get money, and there's no threat to life. So, if you don't help Avery get out of the hospital this time, she will only be used more thoroughly by Adolf," Albert said angrily.

"Then again, Adolf is still your brother after all, so why did you decide to help Avery instead?" Moore suddenly asked, making everyone turn to him.

Albert looked at Moore in a slight surprise and then smiled before saying, "Moore, I know you."

Moore's eyes widened in surprise. "You know me?" Then he remembered something, and his expression became a little complicated.

'Even Albert knows me. What the hell is going on?' Moore thought.

"Certainly, I remember you. In the year Adolf found Avery and saw potential in her to be a star, before he trained her, he investigated her background first. He wanted to make sure that not a single detail of her life would be a nuisance to the press once she becomes a star. Adolf was clever like that. You were part of his files, and we all know you as Avery's friend and language teacher. And because you're handsome and outstanding, of course, how can I forget you?"

Albert explained with a bright smile plastered on his face.

Moore eyed Albert for a while before nodding slowly. "I see."

He breathed a sigh of relief under his breath. Then he looked into Albert's eyes and asked again, "You haven't answered my question yet. Why did you betray your brother and help Avery?"

"Well, because..." Albert showed a gentle look. "She is so kind and beautiful. Everything about her is just outright gorgeous, so how could I not like her?"

The word "she" in Albert's words naturally referred to Avery. When Albert said that, everyone's face suddenly showed an understanding.
