Arrogant Man VS Unyielding Woman novel Chapter 610

Adolf looked toward Avery with great affection and smiled as he began to speak again. "You know what first attracted me to Avery? It was her passion and persistence. She became known to everyone through the talent show. Competing among tens of thousands of other extremely talented contestants, she won first place. However, I could tell that she wasn't happy.

A long time had passed after that; I asked her what her intention for participating in the talent show was. She told me she wasn't pursuing fame or money, nor did she enjoy the pleasure or glory of being in the spot light. The reason she did it all, was just for the one person. And that person is you, Moore."

"Me?" Moore was both shocked and bewildered.

Jean didn't understand Adolf's meaning either. She fixed her eyes on Adolf's face with curiosity.

"That's right. She did it all for you. She told me once that she was secretly in love with a person, but never dared to confess to him. She was afraid of telling him about her feelings because he had a miserable childhood and was a sensitive person. She always felt sad for him, for what he had experienced in life. However, she felt she wasn't good enough to be the person who could stand by his side, to give him the comfort, support and encouragement that he needed.

The person that she cared so much for, never even noticed her..." Adolf's voice trailed off for a moment. "Though there was one time she badgered you and made you teach her Chinese," he said with a quiet laugh and then has face turned serious again. "That was the only time she had the courage to approach you and that was all the courage she had in her. After that, she didn't dare cross the line. All she did was watch and admire you from afar.

After graduation, you drifted apart and your paths never crossed. So she decided to enter the competition and was determined to win so she could be in the limelight for all to see her, but especially you. If only you could have turned your head back, you would have seen her there, waiting for you and never giving up on you. However, the more intense her love was for you, the more frightened she was of approaching you.

She never intended to pursue vanity in the dazzling show business in the first place, but her life had been through many changes since then. Avery is no longer the same person she used to be. She is the brilliant global star Vikki! In her heart, her original intention always remained the same. She stayed in the spotlight in hope that you would just notice her."

After Adolf finished, the room fell silent.

A stunned expression flashed across Moore's face and he stared at Avery in shock.

It had never occurred to him that all of Avery's achievements to date were all because of him, so that he would notice her.

She was so passionate but humble in love. She sacrificed so much for him.

"Fool…" Moore muttered, his expression showing that he was touched.

Jean was shocked too. She knew Avery had feelings towards Moore, but she couldn't imagine that her love for Moore was so deep and so obsessive.

The reason Avery entered show business was for Moore. She sacrificed her freedom and emotion just because of him.

She shared the same feeling as Moore when he called her a fool. She nodded in agreement and said, "She is really silly. She loves you but dare not tell you. She has done so much for you secretly in the past years. Moore, Avery really is silly, isn't she?"

Moore nodded. "Yes she is." "You know that. I like her," Adolf said in a hoarse voice full of emotions.

He saw the expressions of the two people and smiled bitterly. "I know,"

Jean said, looking at Adolf and nodded in agreement. "I have been by her side for many years. I saw with my own eyes how hard she worked without asking for anything in return. She was content just to see the person she loved.

I once couldn't understand and had an argument with her because of it. However, after that fight, I have never blamed her again nor tried to stop her," Adolf said sighing.

"Why? What did Avery say when you were arguing?"

Jean asked with great curiosity. "She said she got into the show business just because of him.

If I had insisted on stopping her, she would have quit the show business. But she would have just found another way that could make Moore be able to see her whenever he wanted to. I didn't ask what other ways she was referring to, but her determination convinced me that she was serious," Adolf said with a bitter smile.
