Jerome’s face immediately darkened, 

“How dare you say that!” 

But Mikayla wasn’t listening at that point. 

She started weeping on her pillow. 

“I forgot. I probably won’t be getting a single penny. He’s so stingy, he couldn’t even spare me a few million 

Jerome gave up trying to communicate with Mikayla. 

He went to the bathroom, wet a towel, and wiped her face roughly. 

After that, he dragged her to his side. 

He took the remaining half cup of water beside the bed and placed it near her mouth. 

“Drink it,” he commanded. 

Mikayla was suddenly quite submissive. 

With a disheveled look, she lowered her head and took a sip. 

But just as she was swallowing, she suddenly choked, and the water stained Jerome’s clothes. 

“Mikayla!” Jerome exclaimed angrily, “Are you doing this on purpose?” 

Mikayla began crying again after being scolded. 

“I don’t want water! I want my latte! I queued for over an hour. Why did you throw it away? Give it back!” 

Jerome was usually able to remain composed under any circumstances. 

But he found it challenging to do so with Mikayla. 

“You’re not going to give it back to me, huh? Fine, then pay me back with your body!” 

Without waiting for a response from Jerome, Mikayla gathered all her strength and tried to pry off his 

clothes. 

Jerome grabbed Mikayla’s hand. 

His expression turned grim. 

“Do you know who you’re talking to?” 

Mikayla blinked her teary eyes and stared at him. 

Suddenly, she let out a large grin and said, “Hey, handsome. Do you have a girlfriend? Do you like who you’re looking at?” 

Chapter 104 

Jerome gritted his teeth. 

“Are you forgetting you have a husband?” 

“Hush, let me tell you a secret.” Mikayla whispered into his ear, “My husband’s useless. Don’t be fooled by his appearance. I’m about to divorce him.” 

After revealing the secret, Mikayla patted Jerome’s face. 

“So, don’t worry about anything. You can be my boyfriend.” 

“Mikayla!” 

Jerome was infuriated. 

“Are you pretending to be drunk, or are you telling the truth? If it’s the latter, I don’t mind proving it to you right now!” 

Saying this, Jerome grabbed Mikayla and tried to bite her. 

However, the sudden force made her dizzy and she almost vomited. 

Jerome quickly lifted her head a little. 

“My stomach doesn’t feel well…” 

Instead of vomiting, Mikayla slumped down tiredly against his abdomen. 

“Stay with me…” 

Jerome shook Mikayla, but she had already fallen asleep. 

In her sleep, she pinched his abdomen. “It’s so hard. It’s hurting my face…” 

Jerome clenched his teeth. 

“You’d better be drunk!” 

The next morning, Mikayla woke up feeling extremely thirsty. 

While her eyes were still closed, she reached her hand out to look for her cup, but she grabbed something 

warm and hard instead. 

Without thinking much, she touched it again and again.
