“Mr. Miller, did you call for me?” 

Mike was nervous. He was afraid of getting into trouble for no reason. 

Jerome tossed a USB stick to him and said, “Print out the proposal inside and send it to Bernhal. If it passes, reward Mikayla according to the standards.” 

Although Ansoft was not a top–tier project, it was the first project that Bernhal was working on after the acquisition from Miller Group. It needed to be well–prepared and flawless to make a strong debut. 

Their investment analysts were all working on the proposal. The company also offered bonuses to motivate them. 

Mike didn’t expect Mikayla to participate in the project. Not to mention, she created a proposal that Jerome acknowledged within such a short time. 

He secretly admired Mikayla. He then took the USB drive. 

“Yes, Mr. Miller.” 

“Ms. Davidson, feel free to order anything you want to eat or drink. Don’t be shy.” 

In a low–key luxurious private club, Taylor lazily sat on the sofa. He casually placed his long legs on the coffee table. Beside him were two slender beauties. 

He seemed to be enjoying himself. Those who knew him would know he came for a work meeting. Those who didn’t know might think he was flaunting his extravagant lifestyle. 

“Mr. Blue, would you mind if I ask them to leave?” 

“Yes.” 

Taylor smiled provocatively. 

“Ms. Davidson, we’ll be alone in the room if they leave. Don’t you think it’s inappropriate?” 

Mikayla fell silent. 

She then said, “It’s fine. You can take me for a man.” 

Taylor shrugged. 

“I can’t do that. How can I treat a beautiful woman like you as a guy?” 

Mikayla didn’t bother wasting any time. 

She told the two ladies beside him, “I noticed a spa area outside. Why don’t you two have a full–body spa to relax? 

“Don’t worry, Mr. Blue will cover the expenses. 

The two beauties exchanged glances. Taylor raised an eyebrow, 

“Since Ms. Davidson has made herself clear, go ahead.” 

Taylor muttered, “You and Jerome are indeed a couple. Neither of you is willing to take any losses.” 

Mikayla remained composed. 

“Your reputation would be tarnished if you put your woman’s expenses on someone 

else’s account.” 

“You sure are thoughtful.” 

He smirked. Only then did he resume a businessman demeanor. 

“Ms. Davidson, is the proposal ready?” 

“Yes, but there’s been a slightly unexpected situation.” 

Taylor looked at her skeptically. She briefly explained the incident where leme took her 

USB drive. 

“Although I have a backup on my computer, he has already seen the contents. This makes things slightly complicated.” 

She could only blame herself for not having the habit of shutting down her computer. She assumed that Jerome wouldn’t enter her room. So, she didn’t think of being cautious.
