A girl suddenly exclaimed with envy, “Ordinary people can’t buy this bag easily. I heard they only serve VIP 

customers, 

Her loud voice attracted the attention of Jensen, who was playing pool. 

“Mikayla is certainly a woman who spends money lavishly! Louisa sneered disdainfully and said, “She married into a wealthy family and received a billion dowry from her father–in–law during the wedding!” 

Mikayla didn’t deny that she was rich. 

As the waiter approached, she took out the card given by Jerome and handed it to the waiter. She said, Could you please swipe this card? All expenses here today are on me.” 

Jensen looked over in her direction as he heard that. 

“No, I said that I would pay for today. How can I let you pay?” Jensen walked over and said in a resolute 

tone. 

“It’s okay. How could I let you guys pay when I’m Louisa’s cousin?” Mikayla said casually as if she had just bought a one–dollar toy. 

Jensen didn’t try to stop Mikayla from paying anymore and said, ‘Thank you, Mikayla.” 

After swiping the card, Mikayla stood up and said, “Sorry, I just remembered I have something to do. You guys continue to have fun.” 

Louisa didn’t want to see Mikayla anyway, so she didn’t stop her from leaving. 

Mikayla exited the room. While she was waiting for the elevator, Jensen came to her. 

“Mikayla, can I have your contact information?” Jensen asked. 

Mikayla, unsurprised by this request, looked at Jensen with a frown. 

Jensen quickly explained by saying, “I don’t mean anything. I just thought that you would know Louisa well since you’re her cousin. Maybe I could better integrate into her circle if I knew you too.” 

Mikayla asked nonchalantly, “Are you trying to pursue Louisa?” 

Jensen admitted candidly, “Yes. Although I’ve known Louisa for a short time, I really like her and want to pursue her seriously.” 

Mikayla said, “My family is hard to deal with. Besides, my uncle only has one daughter and dotes on Louisa a lot. He won’t let her have a boyfriend easily.” 

“I know that, but I’m sure I am a suitable boyfriend for Louisa. Otherwise, I wouldn’t dare to pursue her. 

“My dad has a large agricultural product company in our hometown. Although we might not be as wealthy as your husband is, Louisa would be able to live comfortably if she married me.” 

Then, he added, “I’m just not ready to inherit my dad’s family business so soon, so I’m here at Marisville to 

try my luck! 

What he said matched Mikayla’s knowledge from her past life. 

Mikayla recalled that Louisa’s boyfriend worked in an agricultural products company. 

“I’ll add your WhatsApp for now since you seem to be very sincere,” Mikayla said as she unlocked her phone. 

Jensen added Mikayla’s contact joyfully. “I’ll ask you in the future if I want to know something about 

Louisa.” 

Mikayla maintained a distanced stance and said, “I’m not necessarily going to help you. After all, this is about Louisa’s life. I can’t make decisions for her.”
