Be Spoiled After Rebirth (Selena and Osvaldo) novel Chapter 1451

Chapter 1451 Their Promise

After all, as the first aristocrat of the Federation Empire and the ruler of the entire Federation, the complexity of the relationships within the Riddle family was beyond the imagination of outsiders.

The fact that both he and Selena shared the same surname, coupled with that person's attitude towards Selena and Selena's unconscious thoughts, indicated that he was unlikely to be an enemy.

Selena looked at Osvaldo in surprise. "Aren't you angry?"

She thought Osvaldo would be angry, after all, she couldn't bring herself to encourage him to go find another woman.

Osvaldo locked eyes with her, his voice devoid of any emotional fluctuations but filled with tenderness. "If it makes you happy, then it's fine."

He couldn't possibly become his love rival.

So, Osvaldo didn't mind being generous on occasion.

Mainly because Selena had only seen that person once, and yet she was already so worried about him. The more he tried to stop her, the more she would think about him, and the more unhappy she would become.

It wasn't conducive to the recovery of her recently injured body.

Selena's lips curled up slightly as she leaned on Osvaldo's shoulder and said, "I don't plan on going to find that big brother right now."

Although Ace of Hearts didn't explicitly say it, Selena could tell that he didn't want her to look for him.

She could feel the concern and kindness that the big brother had towards her.

Although she had only met him once, Selena was sure that he liked her very much.

But in the situation where he liked her so much, yet didn't want her to approach him further, there must be something she didn't know about.

If she were to rashly approach him, it would likely cause him trouble.

"If he's really the person I think he is, then I'll definitely have the chance to see him again," Selena's eyes were filled with anticipation and warmth, her eyes curved. "The next time I see him, I'll know his name."

That was their promise.

Osvaldo looked at Selena, her eyes filled with longing, and after a moment of silence, he suddenly asked, "Do You have any other siblings?"

Selena turned her head to look at him, not knowing why Osvaldo suddenly asked such a question, but still answered, "No. My father and mother only had me as their daughter."

As if she had remembered something, a bone-chilling coldness flashed in her eyes. "But I do have a cousin, my aunt's daughter, who's two years older than me."

The Riddle family's main line only had two daughters in this generation.

If not, she wouldn't have been promoted at the age of five while her other siblings, who were not in the direct line of succession, had to align themselves with other factions in order to gain any power.

After her "martyrdom," everyone knew who would inherit the throne.

Selena's eyes turned icy and she clenched her fingers in anger.

Osvaldo saw her expression and immediately dispelled a thought.

He had not told Selena the person's name, but had told him instead, obviously not wanting Selena to know his name.

The reason he had told him was probably to avoid any unnecessary trouble caused by misunderstandings.

As for the cousin Selena had mentioned, a hint of resentment flashed through Osvaldo's eyes.

He gently held Selena and looked at her lovingly, "You will definitely get what you want."

Selena's eyes lit up, "Yes, I believe my big brother has his reasons for avoiding me. Once things are settled, I will be able to see him."

If all else failed, she could use the strategy.

After all, if the person who had given her a second life with the "Light of God" was really that person, he would not be able to bear to see her hurt.
