Selena blinked her eyes. She didn't feel like there was anything to be upset about in these two things.
If Osvaldo suddenly said something like this, it must be because Stanley had told him something.
"Stanley just cares about me, he doesn't mean any harm," Selena played with the button on Osvaldo's shirt and smiled. "He's my best friend, don't worry about it."
Osvaldo stared at Selena for a moment, silent. It seemed like he was pondering some difficult problem.
Selena tugged on his sleeve and asked with joy and shyness on her face, "Honey, do you want to go on a date?"
As soon as she said this sentence, Osvaldo couldn't resist anymore.
It was well-known that his little wife had low emotional intelligence. There was no other way but to indulge her.
Osvaldo stuffed the pillow from the back seat into her arms and settled the little girl before walking into the driver's seat.
Because Selena wanted to watch a movie, Leia had already booked their tickets in advance. Osvaldo took Selena into the cinema hall where they watched a recently popular love story film together.
As it was night time when they went out of cinema hall after watching movie together; atmosphere inside cinema hall made them feel romantic enough for rest of night. After some time passed by while still being immersed in what they saw earlier; Selena looked up at Osvaldo and said: "I don't think that movie is very good."
Osvaldo looked down at his wife, who was looking at him with a serious expression. He couldn't help but smile a little. "Hmm?"
"The male lead forgets his first love due to an accident and falls in love with the younger sister because of their similar appearance. After recovering his memory, he ultimately chooses to be with the younger sister..."
"He said he couldn't find the feeling of loving the first girl anymore."
Selena's eyes were misty, clearly feeling sad about how the movie ended. "Can love change because memories change?"
It was clear that it was Selena's older sister who met the man first, but in the end it was her younger sister who became the main character.
Everyone congratulated her younger sister, forgetting that Selena's older sister was actually this man's first woman.
"Because he couldn't find that feeling of loving her anymore and truly loved her younger sister, she could only step back and wish them well."
Osvaldo looked at Selena emotionally. "That can only mean that man didn't truly love his first girl."
Selena became even more serious. "Hmm?"
Osvaldo held Selena's hand and protected her in his embrace to prevent too many people from crowding around them. "When a man meets a girl when he is young and likes her very much, he thinks it is true love and makes many promises... But ironically enough, often times another woman ends up being by his side."
"People use this kind of regretful missed opportunity as an excuse for finding something better later on."
"When we are young we cannot distinguish what true love really is; it is only after experiencing all kinds of things do we finally realize whom we really loved all along," Osvaldo explained.
After thinking about it for a moment or two more seriously than before, Selena shook her head firmly: "I don't like this movie."
Osvaldo hugged her tightly then kissed gently on top of forehead: "Me neither; next time I'll take you to see something else."
