Selena smiled slightly, her gaze falling on a beautiful little building in front of them. "Stanley, my mother loves me very much, right?"
Stanley nodded. "Madam's love for you is beyond doubt."
"And then my father told me that he also loves me."
"Since they both love you, does that mean I have the ability to change certain things?" Selena asked.
Stanley hesitated and lowered his eyelashes without saying a word.
Just like him and Osvaldo, there must always be someone who lets go in the end. They all loved her but were unwilling to bear the pain of losing her.
Not getting the answer she wanted, Selena turned to Stanley. "Don't you think so?"
"Selena, you're thinking too simplistically," Stanley sighed softly. "If that person's existence can make your parents remain silent about him and even make him feel it's best not to appear before you at all, then it means their choice is the best one."
Forcing things could lead to unexpected consequences. The most important thing was that Selena might get hurt during this process.
Selena pouted with a small face as she looked at Stanley unhappily. Which side was he on?
Seeing her expression made Stanley want to laugh but he coughed instead and said seriously: "Of course if you insist and are prepared for any consequences that may arise from your decision then we will definitely fight for what we believe in."
Selena finally smiled again and waved her hand dismissively: "I will decide based on the results of our investigation."
"They all love me very much, so I'm not afraid of getting hurt because--" Selena stepped towards the small building. "Whether it's my father and mother or that big brother, they can't bear to hurt me."
