"You've thrown my dolls away, and you still wish me a good day? Don't you feel guilty? You're clearly ruining my mood!" Victoria murmured.
Mumbling incoherently, Victoria tore the card into pieces. She took out the little rabbit from the flowers. There was a hook on it. She poked the rabbit's ear, and she couldn't bring herself to throw it away. She took her keys from the table and hung the rabbit onto it as a keychain and mumbled to herself,
"It's just the right size, and it's actually quite cute!"
Later, she picked up the flowers and wanted to throw them away. However, as she looked at them, she felt that it would be a waste to do so. She then just took one stalk out of it and tore it apart. She threw it away together with its wrapper into a trash can, which was especially used for trash papers. Victoria even tidied it up before taking a photo of it and sending it to Trevor. She also sent a GIF of a little rabbit rolling its eyes, with the word,
"Hmph!"
Then, she walked towards a vase on one side with the tulips in her arms and put them into the vase.
She placed it on the table beside the windowsill. Under the gentle sunshine, the pink tulips were ready to bloom. It looked very beautiful!
On the other side, while listening to the report, Trevor's cell phone lit up again. He lowered his head and couldn't help but chuckled, "Haha..."
That woman was really quite interesting! Was she trying to take a revenge on him for ruining her two soft toys? He didn't even know which scumbag it was who gave them to her.
In an instant, the meeting room became quiet again. Trevor raised his eyes, and the smile on his lips was still visible. He said, "Continue!"
Then, he put his cell phone away and switched his focus back to the main topic of the meeting.
Due to the interlude, they were thinking about each other the entire day. Regardless of whether they were happy or angry, they had clearly become much closer.
As a result of the phone call in the morning, Victoria was blushing from embarrassment when she went to Sofare Entertainment in the afternoon. She hung her head low all the way into the elevator, and she also took out her cell phone and just stared at the screen. For the first time, she was subconsciously scared while being in s place that she was familiar with. Her footsteps were hesitant as she feared that she might bump into someone who knew about the incident that morning!
The elevator made a soft "ring", and Victoria rushed out of it.
She had barely walked for two seconds, but when she looked up, she saw Trevor coming her way while talking to Holger. Instinctively, she turned around and wanted to hide herself in the elevator. She ran to the door of the elevator, but it had just closed on her.
Her hand was still half- raised. Victoria was distressed and murmured, "I'm dead! I'm dead! How could such a coincidence happen? He doesn't see me, he doesn't see me! He doesn't recognize me!"
She whined in her heart while trying to convince herself, covering her small face with her hands, and she glanced around from the corner of her eyes. She was feeling so depressed.
There was only one way! Was there no way out? Even God wasn't on her side!
It was quiet around her, and there seemed to be no movement behind her!
Assessing her surroundings carefully, Victoria blinked her big eyes and thought that perhaps they were gone.
When she turned back, his handsome smiling face was staring right at hers. Victoria suddenly stepped back and almost hit the door of the elevator. Her small face was blushing red in an instant.
Biting her lower lip, she was feeling extremely embarrassed. Victoria greeted him in a daze, "Hu... Hubby!"
Her long eyelashes fluttered, and she glanced around from the corner of her eyes. Where was Holger? Why was he alone? Was she seeing things just now? Luckily, he was alone!
Seeing her wriggling her little hands while being so embarrassed that she almost dug a hole to hide herself, together with her shifting gaze that was showing uneasy she was, Trevor said with a slight smile.
