The Accident
The Accident
Kelly’s POV
I was drinking coffee while staring at the beach when I felt a pair of warm arms wrapped around my waist. I smiled as I smelled Pierce’s familiar scent as his lips gently landed a kiss on my neck.
“Why are you still here?”
He stood beside me after hugging me and stared at my face. He even caressed my cheek and tucked my hair behind my ear.
“Just having some fresh air.”
He looked at the sea and rested his arm on the railing The sky was dark but full of stars. The waves are wild and full of mystery. It’s fascinating how nature could blend beautifully. It’s like a mystery. A magic.
“What do you think about a house on a beach?” He broke the silence and it immediately affected me. My heart raced like it has been a million years since I last talked to him like this. I missed him.
“It’s nice,” I answered honestly and smiled. “Relaxing and beautiful,”
He faced me again and gently held my hands. He put the mug on the table and moved closer to me, staring into my eyes as if memorizing my face.
“I wanna marry you again, Kelly. I want it so bad.”
I bit my bottom lip and stared into his eyes. Those eyes that are always honest. Those eyes that are always gentle. He told me he loves me and his eyes showed sincerity. Now, he wants to marry me again and I know in my heart that I’ll willingly marry her again. No doubt.
“Do you want to marry me again, Kels? Is it okay if I become part of yours and Snow’s life? Is it okay if 1 hold your hand while you’re delivering our baby? Is it okay if I stay by your side until we’re old and gray?”
I felt tears in the corner of my eyes. I have always been searching for a love that doesn’t consume me but I guess it will never be possible because the love I have for him has always been consuming…but worth it
He kissed the back of my hands and caressed my empty ring finger. I want to put another wedding ring on your finger. I want to call you Mrs. Anderson again I want to…be part of yours and our children’s life… Allow me…”
A lone tear rolled down my cheeks as I chuckled. “Are you proposing? I think there should be a ring.”
He chuckled and shook his head. “I don’t wanna force you into making a choice that you haven’t thought through. I…I have a ring but I don’t wanna pressure you. We’ll take this slow.”
I nodded and smiled at him. “Thank you, Pierce.”
He smiled and caressed my cheek with his left hand. “But I’m your boyfriend now, right?”
Smiling, I nodded again. “Yes…”
He took a single step closer and kissed my cheek, I squeezed my eyes closed when his soft lips traveled to my nose, to my eyes and back to my cheek before it landed on my lips..
His kisses were soft, shallow and sweet. He was kissing me as if he’s memorizing the taste of my lips and leaving a trail of his soft kisses on it
I wrapped my arm around his neck as I started kissing him back, mine were hungry and deep. He must’ve felt my needs that he carried me and started kissing me with the same hunger and intensity.
I lost count of the days I tried to ignore him and disregard my feelings for him. All I know is that those days were gloomy, painful and lonely. I never want to go back to those days. I never want to deny my feelings again.
Pierce’s lips ran to my neck, licking my skin, leaving hot trails of his lips.
My heart was hammering inside my chest. My body was already burning in desire. My mind couldn’t think straight. I have already lost my inhibitions just like how I lost it when I gave myself to him again after years of being apart.
That night, in our hotel room, we shared steamy moments in each other’s arms again. He was careful. He was gentle. He was soft. He was comforting
It was one of the best nights in my life and ver expected it to be ruined when the next day, Ana came to our room crying.
“KELLY! KELLY!*
