Next morning, Leo came all prepared for a meeting, it seemed like he was on a mission to conquer this world. 

Exuding matchless confidence, he had a strong command over the room. He meticulously outlined the benefits of this proposal. 

“People say that stars are made by luck. But I think it’s just one golden opportunity which can change your life. 

Like today, if we sign this project, my stardom can bring numerous sponsors to your company, giving you a much–needed boost. And it’s not a long–term contract. The results will amaze you in days.” 

As he explained the feasibility of this project, Echo and Brandon swiftly became his fan. They praised him nonstop. 

“Mr. Leo is such a talented man. He is simply the best in sports, and now see, he is standing like an experienced CEO. Damn! I have goosebumps over my skin!” 

This long session of admiration ruined my mood, reminding me of my bitter past where h was the center of attraction like today. I couldn’t help but regret supporting him when he 

was nothing. 

But not now! 

I was ready to take everything back. 

I thought to myself. “If you hadn’t treated me that way back then, we could be together today, Leo.” 

As soon as Leo completed the presentation, he looked at me for feedback. My co–workers were also curious about my decision. I could read their faces easily where it was clearly written in bold letters ‘Yes‘. So, I had to sugar–coat my response to maintain the air of 

mystery.
