I remained on top of him as we both tried to catch our breath. Ian still feel his huge shaft pulsating inside me.
When things settled down and everything became clear, embarrassment crept throughout my body. I can’t believe I allow myself to give in to my lust. I need to get out of here as soon as possible.
I tried to move my body, but Titus‘ arms tightened around me. He clearly has no intention of letting me go.
“Hmmm…let’s stay like this for a while,” he whispered against my ear.
Those words were exactly what I needed to hear to calm my troubled soul. I lean my head against his shoulder, feeling the warmth of his body against mine. This moment was innocent and romantic. But all of that quickly vanished when I felt his shaft hardening once again.
I straightened my shoulder and moved my face away from him so I could give him a warning look. But that was clearly a mistake. As soon as I moved my body, it quickly stimulated my insides, igniting the fire of desire within me.
“Titus!” I warned him.
“What? I can’t help that you can turn me on easily,” he replied.
“You’re insatiable!” I accused him, which he quickly agreed on.
“That I am, kitten.”
I was about to move when I heard Scott’s voice behind the door. “Sage, are you still in there?” he said.
My eyes widened in panic. I looked at Titus as if asking him what we should do. But instead of answering, there’s a devilish smirk playing on his lips.
He grabbed my waist and started thrusting his hips. A moan almost escapes my lips. It’s a good thing that I quick to cover my mouth before anything comes out. I hit his shoulder as a warning for him to stop. However, it seems like he had no intention of doing so.
“Sage?” Scott asked once again.
“You have to answer him, kitten. Or else he’d definitely open that door,” he whispered against my ear.
“Then stop moving so I can respond to him,” I replied, whispering in between my gritted teeth.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t do that,” he said. And instead of stopping, he started to increase his pace.
“Fck!” I cursed out loud.
“Sage, are you okay? Can I come in?”
“No!” I blurted out, my voice shaky as I clung to Titus, wrapping my arm around his neck like a lifeline. My heart pounded in panic at the thought of being discovered. “I’m fine, Scott. T–Titus is fine. He’s currently-” My words caught in my throat as Titus’s mouth latched onto my sensitive nipple, his tongue swirling as he thrust into me with maddening precision.
I bit my lip hard, struggling to keep my composure. “H–He’s currently asleep,” I managed to stammer, my voice quivering under the strain of holding it together. “I’m afraid you’d wake him up if you come inside.” My breathing hitched as I fought to finish my sentence, my head spinning from the overwhelming sensations. “I–I’ll let you know when he wakes up,” I finally

There was a brief pause on the other side of the door before Scot replied, his tone light and casual. “Oh, that’s great news! I’ll leave you to it. Please let me know if you need anything.
The sound of his footsteps retreating down the hallway was like music to my cars. I let out a shaky breath, my body trembling as the tension ebbed away.
“You did great, kitten,” Titus murmured, his voice tinged with amusement.
I pulled back slightly to glare at him, narrowing my eyes. “That’s not funny!” I scolded, though my voice lacked real conviction.
His lips curled into a wicked grin, his crimson eyes gleaming with mischief. “No, it wasn’t,” he agreed, leaning in to brush his lips against mine. “It was hot.”
Heat flushed through my cheeks, and I smacked his chest weakly, though the movement only made him laugh softly. He shifted his hips slightly, eliciting a gasp from me as the tension between us reignited.
“Now, where were we?” He whispered, his tone low and dangerous, promising we weren’t anywhere near done.
Titus didn’t wait for an answer. His hands gripped my waist, holding me firmly in place as he began to move again, slow and deliberate, drawing out every sensation. My gasp turned into a soft moan as the fire he’d ignited earlier flared back to life, hotter and more consuming than ever.
“You’re so perfect like this,” he murmured, his lips brushing against my ear, sending a shiver down my spine. “Flushed, breathless, utterly mine.”

ok just as a recap because i'm getting confused with this plot: sage (the daughter of the ex-alpha who was killed for betraying his pack) is contracted to marry the lycan king bc the present alpha doesn't want to give his own daughter to the king. sage sleeps with someone before the wedding (turns out to be the king). there's a caper at the palace where the king doesn't let her look at him bc he wants to keep her guessing for some reason but eventually she finds out that man she slept with is her husband now. there are other concubines and a queen but for some reason titus still doesn't have an heir despite being like thousands of years old. there is a prophecy that a red wolf will destroy the evil inside the king and when it comes to pass titus looks like he dies. sage runs away (she is the red wolf) bc shes scared of being called a killer. when she comes back titus has been manipulated to believe her "sister" is his mate. there's an intermission where sage runs away with her handmaiden to new york and they start a life for themselves. until titus buys out the company bc he's filthy rich and drags her back. the sister gets punished and jailed to be killed, but sage's intervention (due to her previous feelings for the brother) prevents her death. there's a point when the royal elders storm the castle and titus is jailed and almost at the point of death. taking the beta and her handmaiden they rescue titus and restore him to health. while sage was in new york, titus had somehow found his dead wife again (anna?) and she's very childlike and annoying. all the times sage saves titus doesn't matter because he's been deposed as king and brainwashed by his dead wife to believe she's everything to him. titus dissolves the bond between he and sage (bc of pressure from previous wife) but still has feelings for her and still sleeps with her while trying to reclaim his throne by making alliances with other werewolf packs. a bounty hunter offers his help but demands sage as the price. titus says no, but sage goes behind his back anyway and makes the deal. thinking titus is blinded by sage's presence that prevents him from forming alliance with a pack and having that alpha's daughter as his queen, she runs way with the bounty hunter and he puts her up for sale (she's an idiot for doing this). finding out she's pregnant with an accelerated pregnancy (due to blood moon sex?) she runs away from the auction house and is rescued by a couple who never had kids miles away from where she ran away. 3 years or so pass and she is happy with her chosen family until the bounty hunter finds her again and she goes with him to keep him away from her kids only to be rescued by titus at the auction house. he also finds her kids (bc they obvy would run away to find her) but she for some reason convinces them to lie and say they're not her kids. reunited again, they come across rogue wolves who hurt titus, but they somehow all fit into the helicopter that comes at the right time to save them all. titus while being gravely ill still saves sage from being sentenced to death, but now her kids are in danger....
ok now im reinvested! I hope the kids will be ok! titus now would be a good time to wake up!...
If possible, kindly change the title of the book too because Sage is suppose to be happy with Titus but this back and forth is making the book boring...
Please this has to stop , Titus is suppose to be her savior but she's going through too much...
This book really started good. And for whatever reason, the author keeps on adding boring and nonsensical twist to the story. I'm just skipping through chapters and story still the same.repeating issues and conflict and convo. So tiring. I'm just checking in hoping I can read the ending. Lolz...
We need an end soon. It getting boting and is so boring. Also people is missing. Were is her former maid and scott used to be her friend now he treat her like a stranger...
