TITUS
“Good morning. Your Majesty,” Scott greeted upon entering my chamber. I’m nearly finished with my usual morning routine when he arrives.
“Good morning.” I responded as my se**ts finished fixing my clothes.
“How are you this morning, Your Majesty? Did the elixir work well last night?” he asked.
“It didn’t, actually. Tell the mage to create a more potent serum. I bare got through my heat last night despite taking those useless scrums,” I complained.
“About that…” he paused. “Is there a chance that your new britle is your mate?”
I scoffed, “Don’t be ridiculous. I’ve been alive for hundreds of years, and not once have I met someone who could form a bond with my wolf. This mate business is nothing but a myth. I will never have a mate.”
Scott looked at me, concern etched on his face. “But Your Majesty, she triggered your manifestation. You went into heat because of her, and it wasn’t even a full moon.”
I paused, his words sinking in. It was true that I had felt a powerful surge of energy, an undeniable connection. “That doesn’t mean anything.” I retorted, though my voice lacked conviction. “It was a fluke, an anomaly. There’s no proof that she’s my mate.”
“Your Majesty,” Scott insisted gently, “you know as well as I do that such reactions aren’t random. There’s something about Lady Sage that affects you deeply. You can’t just dismiss it.”
I turned away, my mind racing. Scott’s words echoed the doubts I hadn’t wanted to acknowledge. Could it be possible that, after all these centuries, I had finally found. someone who could truly be my mate?
“Enough,” I said, more to myself than to Scott. “We have more pressing matters to attend to.”
Scott bowed his head slightly. “Of course, Your Majesty,” he said before standing in the corner silently.
Scott waited patiently as the last touches were made to my outfit. I glanced at him, noticing the usual calm determination in his eyes.
“Is everything ready for today?” I asked, trying to hide
my nervousness.

Yes, Your Majesty, he responded, bowing slightly. “We have a full day ahead, starting with breakfast in the grand dining hall.”
“Inform the queen that I’m not joining them for breakfast, I ordered.
Your Majesty?” he asked, as if he hadn’t fully understood me. “But it’s the protocol.”
I gave him a deadly stare, cutting him off mid-sentence.
Scott quickly bowed his head. “Of course, Your Majesty. I will have the queen informed about your decision.” He turned around and left the room for a minute to give the orders to his people waiting outside the king’s chamber. It didn’t take long before he came back. “It’s done, Your Majesty. Would you like me to have your breakf your room?”

“There’s no need for that. I have no appetite,” I replied. “Did you get all the information I asked you?”
Yes Your Majesty,” he answered.
“Proceed.” I ordered him as I took a sip from my cup of coffee.
“Lady Sage is the daughter of the former Alpha of Moonlake Crest Pack. Her father betrayed their pack, which resulted in his demise. Alpha Gordon succeeded to the position and legally adopted his daughter. Nobody expected him to do that since Alpha Gordon led the coup de tat against her father
“It seems to me that Alpha Gordon had planned this all along. He never intended to send his daughter as a tribute. I must applaud him. He managed to dodge a bullet without breaking any law.” I chuckled..
“But isn’t this defiance in some way? If you allow it, other packs might follow suit. It undermines the purpose of the treaty,” Scott argued.
I turned to him with a thoughtful expression on my face. “Consider this, Scott. If Alpha Gordon hadn’t ascended to the position and Sage’s father had remained Alpha, who do

think they would have offered as their tribute?”
He hesitated, then finally answered, “It would have been Lady Sage, Your Majesty.”
Exactly, I said, a smirk forming on my lips. “Either way, she was destined to be my wife. I have no complaints about that.”
Scott looked at me with curiosity in his eyes. “Does that mean you’re going to introduce yourself to her, Your Majesty?”

Don't mean to be rude but half the chapters are missing. As in your only publishing Half the chapter. Not all of it...

ok just as a recap because i'm getting confused with this plot: sage (the daughter of the ex-alpha who was killed for betraying his pack) is contracted to marry the lycan king bc the present alpha doesn't want to give his own daughter to the king. sage sleeps with someone before the wedding (turns out to be the king). there's a caper at the palace where the king doesn't let her look at him bc he wants to keep her guessing for some reason but eventually she finds out that man she slept with is her husband now. there are other concubines and a queen but for some reason titus still doesn't have an heir despite being like thousands of years old. there is a prophecy that a red wolf will destroy the evil inside the king and when it comes to pass titus looks like he dies. sage runs away (she is the red wolf) bc shes scared of being called a killer. when she comes back titus has been manipulated to believe her "sister" is his mate. there's an intermission where sage runs away with her handmaiden to new york and they start a life for themselves. until titus buys out the company bc he's filthy rich and drags her back. the sister gets punished and jailed to be killed, but sage's intervention (due to her previous feelings for the brother) prevents her death. there's a point when the royal elders storm the castle and titus is jailed and almost at the point of death. taking the beta and her handmaiden they rescue titus and restore him to health. while sage was in new york, titus had somehow found his dead wife again (anna?) and she's very childlike and annoying. all the times sage saves titus doesn't matter because he's been deposed as king and brainwashed by his dead wife to believe she's everything to him. titus dissolves the bond between he and sage (bc of pressure from previous wife) but still has feelings for her and still sleeps with her while trying to reclaim his throne by making alliances with other werewolf packs. a bounty hunter offers his help but demands sage as the price. titus says no, but sage goes behind his back anyway and makes the deal. thinking titus is blinded by sage's presence that prevents him from forming alliance with a pack and having that alpha's daughter as his queen, she runs way with the bounty hunter and he puts her up for sale (she's an idiot for doing this). finding out she's pregnant with an accelerated pregnancy (due to blood moon sex?) she runs away from the auction house and is rescued by a couple who never had kids miles away from where she ran away. 3 years or so pass and she is happy with her chosen family until the bounty hunter finds her again and she goes with him to keep him away from her kids only to be rescued by titus at the auction house. he also finds her kids (bc they obvy would run away to find her) but she for some reason convinces them to lie and say they're not her kids. reunited again, they come across rogue wolves who hurt titus, but they somehow all fit into the helicopter that comes at the right time to save them all. titus while being gravely ill still saves sage from being sentenced to death, but now her kids are in danger....
ok now im reinvested! I hope the kids will be ok! titus now would be a good time to wake up!...
If possible, kindly change the title of the book too because Sage is suppose to be happy with Titus but this back and forth is making the book boring...

This book really started good. And for whatever reason, the author keeps on adding boring and nonsensical twist to the story. I'm just skipping through chapters and story still the same.repeating issues and conflict and convo. So tiring. I'm just checking in hoping I can read the ending. Lolz...
We need an end soon. It getting boting and is so boring. Also people is missing. Were is her former maid and scott used to be her friend now he treat her like a stranger...
