“I couldn’t say the same, Your Majesty,” I replied with a fake smile plastered on my lips.

“Are you sure?” she asked, her brows raising with playful skeptician as she folded her arms. Her lips curled into a teasing smile, and the way she was looking at me made it clear she was buying my dramatic declaration.
