Sofia’s POV
“Oh my gosh, I understand you completely now and I’m really sorry. I could unfollow him if you want me to.” She proposed and I rolled my a little, huffing a little for extra drama.
“You don’t have to, that’s unnecessary. I don’t have a problem with you following him, I also do not have a problem with you finding him attractive there… but it’s pretty harmless since you’re just basically just admiring him and nothing more.”
“Yup.” Kayla replied before muttering something along the line of ‘lord, this is so embarrassing’ which made me let out a small chuckle.
“Then we’re cool, right?” I asked her and squeezed on her hand for emphasis, and I watched as she started to nod her head in the next second, as she also tightened her hold on my palm.
“Yes, we most definitely are.” She gushed out in the enthusiastic kind of way she’s always able to effortlessly pull off.
“There's really no need for this to still linger between us, right? It’s going right into the past and it’s going to be like we never had this conversation.” I started to say as I released my hold on her hands in the next second.
“Yes, of course. I loved how we were able to talk it out as soon as it had happened instead of keeping it in our minds.” She stated and I nodded my head in agreement to what she was saying .
“I really do not know how to keep something inside of me without speaking about it when there’s a chance for me to.” I confessed and watched as she smiled a little.
“I like that. It means our friendship is going to blossom into a really beautiful one.” She breathed out and I nodded my head in agreement to what she was saying.
“I’d really want us to be close friends, like super close.” She continued.
“We’re getting there already, I can feel it. We’d be there in no time.” I reassured her and watched as she flashed me a small smile which I returned instantly.
“We should really hang out on our own as soon as possible.” She proposed and I couldn’t agree more.
“I want us to. I’ll speak to my husband about it and hear what he’s going to say about it, and I already have a feeling he’s going to agree.” I said to her, feeling my heart swell and my stomach flutter with the fact that I was just casually referring to Luca as my husband, something I rarely do or almost never do… until this intense and sudden urge to claim him and make it vocally known that he was indeed my husband had surfaced after Kayla had made that statement.
“Cool, I’ll be looking forward to it.” Kayla started to say just as the men turned around and started to make their way towards us.
“Me too.” I whispered in response to her as my eyes locked with Luca’s.
The three men were all in suits but I couldn’t even bother to give the other men more than a fleeting glance seeing as my whole focus was on Luca who was walking directly towards me. I bit on the side of my lower lip to stop myself from breaking into a grin as I kept my gaze locked with his.
They finally stopped a few feet before us and Luca continued until he was standing before me. I grinned up at him now that his wild body was obstructing the other’s from seeing me face and body in this particular moment.
“Are you ok?” He asked and I nodded my head instantly, wanting to hug him so badly. Just to breathe in his scent and remind myself that he was mine alone and nobody else’s but I settled with just being physically close to him at this very moment.
“A fight?” He asked as he nodded his head slightly to where Kayla had been previously standing, I knew without a doubt that she was also standing beside her husband at this very moment the way I was currently doing to mine.
